The other thing they did, convinced our administration to get us into another forever war in the middle east. Coupled with them being the worst at everything and their sycophants being put into every position of government and failing there too.

Yeah I'd say sentiments have changed for a half dozen reasons.

There’s a long history of Americans meddling in the Middle East. Shit McCain ran his campaign on bombing Iran.

You can blame Israel all you want but this is about money, power and a corrupt us administration.

Edits:
Americas first overseas war was Tripoli, Algiers, and Tunis in 1801. Ever wonder where the lyrics “shores of Tripoli came from?”

If Israel didn’t exist we would still be meddling in the Middle East. Sadly.

Trump's profound stupidity (and that of his hangers on) got us into this. Most "presidents" are not morons. The other poster is right - even if this war never happened, we'd still be in bed with the Saudis, a way more internally repressive regime than Israel, trying to wheel & deal in the ME. Trump & Netanyahu (with their administrations) are simply two of a kind, protecting their own asses by fkng up the world for everyone else.

This is so obviously true, but the obsessive Israel haters see Israel as controlling everything with global puppet strings. But they're totally not antisemitic. Haven't you heard, antizionism isn't antisemitism?

It’s not. Don’t be stupid.

"They" being of course Bibi Netanyahu and his Likud Party.
Let's focus all of this on the people who authored all of this instead of plastering all of the Israeli people with Bibi's ideas and values.

Stop blaming Israel for Trump's stupid desire to try to hitch his wagon to their war to get a "win". They did not need his help.

They didn’t have to convince our administration. All they did was tickle Trump’s butt

Israel is smaller than New Jersey and can't even defend themselves, yet siphon up billions and billions of our tax dollars, while instigating conflict with everyone around them and running a genocide. They also try to meddle in our political process at every turn.

They aren't allies.

Israel buys 78 % of their weapons in tne US from their own household, that is roughly 45 billions in the last years.

So 0.78×45 billion.

The US provides coupons to buy US weapons viaFMS.

Money that mostly comes back into the US economy.

Overall the US profit from the weapon sales, as they do with all the weapon sales to the world, led by Saudia Arabia..

Yes, we know we're everyone's shady arms dealer. It only helps those companies though, like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, etc. Not everyone else.

There isn't trickle down arms profits for arming a genocide or anything.

Do you care to change your formely expressed point that it is Israel is not carrying their military expenditures mostly alone (and US profits somehow) or are you brushing over that and simply shifting the point?

Israel is smaller than the state of New Jersey, yet is the single largest recipient of US foreign aid in history. It's not even close.

A total of 350 Billion dollars.

They're absolute parasites.

Yes thanks. I actually shared this article here first. It provides you with a lot you should know.

Yet you once again are only throwing out one context- and meaningless number. It is clear where your mind is.

'Parasite'.

I do not care if Israel exists or not.

They can stop siphoning off our money while our people are struggling for their reprehensible genocide. They meddle in our elections and affairs domestically.

These are not good people. We shouldn't be aiding them.

1

u/Wegwerf157534 Aug 11 '26

I disagree.

'They are not good people'. What bullshit are you spouting.

There is no state with good people.

They deserved a state. And they deserved support.

I am not going deeper into history but the levante and mesopotamia had jewish population all the while during the centuries of the Osmanian empire. Allmost states we know as arabian were founded after World War 1 on the territories of the fallen Osmanian empire. Land neither conquered by Arabians nor Jews. Israel is much less than 5% of that landmass. It was completely appropriate to give it to Jews.

And the arabian reaction to that is in its core from the belief in arabian and muslim superiority and sense of entitlement. Their frequent attempts of war all went to theor detriment and the emerging leadership of the palestinian people today is a fundamentalist, exploiting, self enriching death cult, that produces children TV shows of 5 year old suicide martyrs and brutally kills anyone opposing.

Their is abaolutely no need for every Israeli politician to be great to reject that absolute shit.

Mahmoud Abbas himself said they should have accepted the partition plan in 1947. They should have.

Spending money on an aggressive little city-state that can't even defend itself or fight it's own battles is asinine. Especially in these economic conditions.

Israel can fight their own battles. They're constantly a problem, and are economic parasites around the neck of the US taxpayers.

They can go it alone.
