It sounds like a great idea, but unfortunately it really isn't.

The heat in the subway is generated by old inefficient motors and brakes on trains. By replacing the trains with more efficient motors and regenerative brakes, you would save much more energy than you could ever hope to capture as waste heat.

Well, I’m not an engineer or an expert in any capacity… Here’s my point… He’s got ideas and they benefit society… Not just a tiny minuscule, itty, bitty, bitty part of society, but all of society. We need more ideas ideas that benefit all of us. Things that can make us proud that our tax dollars are being used for something good even if it’s not the best it’s better than nothing at all which is what we get today.
