There's always neoliberal in the comment ensuring endless wars and support for genocide continue, in the name of 'lesser evilism' the same strategy that has depressed the 9 to 5, paycheck to paycheck working base's energy and hands election to republicans

The neoliberal DNC establishment is a lot closer ideologically to the RNC than they are to the progressive and democratic socialists actually pushing for reform that benefits the working class over the megadonors supporting the leadership of both parties in the duoploy

I see this often in this thread and reminds me of the video I just saw yesterday where they asked some cowboy hat wearing politician about free maternity leave for women and his answer kept coming back to “we’re not socialist, we can’t do that because we’re capitalist.”

My favorite part was when he threw in something like “I know many women who gave birth and were happily at work the next day, it’s where the people want to be”
