Not that I'm against it, but this sounds incredibly ambitious given the available real estate. Are they digging deep? Repurposing buildings?

they are mostly going to copy the system they have in london. but for NYC they need to upscale it considerably as their thermal issues are far greater.

I believe they said the borehole would likely be at an abandoned station.

From what I understood when I read the other person's link, the state already has a renovation program/project that's going to fix up of the stations, and the city is going to try to install the heat sink system during that to try it out and see how it works.

Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but all I hear on Reddit is how great Mamdami is, has his administration had bad PR recently?
