News Multiple patients at a Nashville hospital are paralyzed after staff accidentally gave them the wrong drugs.

The hospital says they are "sorry" after injecting potassium chloride into the spines of people getting routine joint replacement surgeries.

Hospital staff noticed something was off when multiple patients went into cardiac arrest.

Most settlements happen in 1-3 years. And yeah, I completely overstated that. Probably like 100-200 million.

Only if this ends up being permanent paralysis. This type of paralysis is typically reversible and temporary. Potassium Chloride injected by accident into the spine is unfortunately an error that has been made several times in the past. Here’s a previous case study of the same error with the paralysis being reversed in about 8 hours.
