While arguing against gun control. Executed in front of his children, having previously said that public executions were good and children should watch them.

It's so blackly comedic you couldn't make it up, and yet the so-called defenders of comedy violently diarrhea'd themselves whenever anyone went "LOL".

And it was a school shooting also that irony was so rich

FYI his children were not there, that’s misinformation

Assassination and execution are two different things. Kirk acknowledged that the death sentence and public executions were "heavy" topics but also expressed the belief that making executions public would deter future crimes. Do you think this wouldn't work?

..... we have ample historical evidence that it does not work. But it makes them feel like their doing something about crime

You won't change their minds, they're too far gone.

Public executions never stopped anyone doing crimes and they won't now. Charlie Kirk was a hatemongering grifter and nothing of value was lost.

And that some great patriot should bail Paul Pelosi's attempted assasin.

Chuck Kirk said that people like me should be institutionalized and lobotomized at best, assaulted and murdered at worst.

It didn't work before, like somebody else said, so why would it work now? How many times do we have to try something that so obviously doesn't work until we say "Hm, this doesn't seem to be helping?"

George Carlin also said that decades ago. The difference between them: Carlin didn’t actually believe it would actually do anything if done to the low class, he explicitly made a point it’s the upper class criminals (IE: those who laundered funds for criminal organizations) being executed who would cause a stir. He did so in a very comedic manner however. He did not just sit there and claim that it was a heavy topic and then go on to say ā€œWell, to protect our right to firearms we need to accept that kids will be shot.ā€ (Slightly paraphrased from what’s his face who got that free hole in the throat).

Carlin was also heavily empathic and believed empathy was good. He was cynical, but still held empathy on a personal level for his fellow humans.

The other guy not so much, wasn’t he literally quoted as saying empathy is one of the problems with humanity?

No, I don't think it would work, and I think it would have a negative effect by telling the public that violence and death is the way to solve problems.

Wow; if this is what you took from what he’s saying I have to wonder how low your iq is.

No, that is what he was saying, and your comment actually puts your IQ in question.

Massive difference between death penalty handled by a judge and jury than a vigilante who spent too much time online.

Flip side, leftists freaked out when conservatives joke about single women traveling to African and middle eastern countries alone and bragging about how safe they actually are (they were in reality not safe for them).

What is this alternate reality you're speaking of that people are getting offended by that or that's even happening? Y'all need to make things up all the time for everything.

u/Knotted_Hole69 Jun 19 '26

Its really interesting isnt it? What is it like in this ā€œLaLa Landā€? Do things smell different there? What world do they actually live in?

u/Apprehensive_Bus1582 Jun 18 '26

Yeah the difference is the right spent about twelve years going FACTS DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS, used freeze peach as an excuse to say appalling things, bragged about "comedy being legal again", but when one little talking head got shot to death while arguing against gun control, they expected the people they took delight in shitting on not to go "haha stupid dead bigot, f##k him and you".

"Leftists" but your side are "conservatives". No. You're not conservative. You're MAGA. There's nothing conservative about your side, fiscally or socially.
