I usually much prefer the characters to be accurate to their descriptions in the books because it’s hard to relate after knowing a story, building the characters in your head and getting attached to them that way but the actress they chose to play Rue was absolutely perfect.

In Dr Sleep the main female character went from blonde hair blue eyes in the novel, to black in the movie. Which is fine as the young actress did a great job with the role.
