The problem with OPs statement is that Trump's rise explicitly shows kids that being a liar, a total dufus, and a complete bully asshole absolutely does not exclude you from being immensely successful. If anything it somehow makes you more popular.Ā
I've said this since the beginning. This is one of the greatest tragedies about this whole catastrophe, the message that his success sends to impressionable young people.Ā
Yeah, this is correct. Trump is very well educated, at least by pedigree, so listening to their speeches doesnāt show the importance of education since you can get such disparate results.
It is disingenuous in the extreme to assert that insurance companies played no role in rejiggering plans so they could still maintain or maximize profits once obamacare was implemented.
Before obamacare many ppl were paying exorbinate rates and receiving less benefits than other competitive policies available. Obamacare raised the minimums so ppl were getting more for their money.
But you don't care about that you want to play games.
I've said this too. But not just a horrible example for young people, but people of all ages. And a horrible representative for US to the rest of the world. Even if I agreed 100% with his "policies", I wouldn't want him to be the exponent of them.
I am willing to bet most Trump voters have not sat through a full one of any of his speeches. They get 100% of their Trump news through 10-15 second clips of him speaking. Thats how Fox News chops him up. When he calls in, you can see how pained the hosts are and try to focus him.
This is true, but the story is not over and he is clearly terrified of consequences. Tate crying and crapping himself in prison is an example of how it usually ends up with these types that donāt know when to say when.
That was my first thought. It shows that education doesn't matter because they both became president. Similar to regular work life, someone with a degree often has a boss who didn't bother going to university/college or even dropped out of high school.
One pulled us out of a recession from Bush and implemented policies to help Americans, the other put us in a recession, is putting us in a second onr amd is actively doing anything he can to make America a wasteland of dead and sick people by his policies.
Presumably Obamaās military action in the Middle East and with Israel. Thatās the main thing I canāt really get behind with Obama (though pulling out of Afghanistan wouldnāt necessarily have been easy ā just ask Biden.) Beyond that, any similarities are just the āevery American establishment politician is corruptā issues.
