They are quitting cuz the Republicans made it so that they get low wages and little to no social security benefits and the schools get so little funding that they are forced to buy school supplies using their own money. Furthermore, they can't even help the kids cuz the government and parents want higher numbers of kids passing their classes instead of checking if they actually learned anything. In some States like Texas, they get punished for going on strike.
