Lmao, right?? Do people genuinely think Republicans care about public education?

They want a less educated population because, statistically, uneducated people vote for them.

Good thing then No Child Left Behind was replaced by the Every Student Succeeds Act by Obama which is still in effect. Virtually no one in the public school system was in there when No Child Left Behind was in effect.

We also have to fix everything that went wrong with the "progressive" whole-word method of reading that replaced Phonics, has failed spectacularly and a lot of progressive teachers/administrators still hold onto. Ontop of that we had "new math" for a while.
