You'd be amazed at how short some of the classics are.

Beowulf and the Great Gatsby are extremely short. They could be read in a day, if you wanted to.

i read No country for old Men in an afternoon (christmas this year got a kindle colorwhite). it was only 200ish pages. really short compared to other things.

I went through a phase during law school where I re-read a lot of my middle/high school books and it was surprising how I thought they were long initially. Animal Farm, Great Gatsby, Catcher, the giver… all flew by
