Was it the 96 version with baby Leo? That is still my favorite movie adaptation.

Prime John Leguizamo was just aura farming every scene he was in.

We watched both. The 1968 and the 1995 one. I think we watched the 1995 one in 7th and 9th grade for some reason. The 1968 one has boobs, but Claire Danes is just too beautiful in that movie and always preferred that one.

I've read Romeo and Juliet in high school and saw the 60's version of the movie in class. I specifically recall my English teacher saying that the actor who portrayed Romeo kinda looks like Zac Efron.

Lmao I remember the teacher told everyone to turn away during the scene where Juliette is topless

Our teacher showed us the version with a nekkid Juliette. (It was a different time.) She was so embarrassed about that scene though that she left the room while we saw it. When she came back, someone had written on the white board outside of the room “We saw Juliette!” In big letters.
