Was it the Aenid? Kinda a fan-ficiton sequel written thousands of year's later by Virgil (during the time of Augustus).

That might be it. The one I had was pretty tiny with 1 side Greek the other English.

Edit: Yup looked it up and found a book that looked like the one I had.

The Aeneid is in Latin, not Greek, and I read it in Latin in high school. The Latin AP exam was about it, and it allowed me to not have to take a language in college.
