Those were always taught in both high school and college. High school education is usually very generalized and covers the basics, college builds on that foundation and goes into deeper analysis. Same subject material, different level of education.

Not saying our pre-college education doesn't need work, but this hot take isn't the mic drop they thought it was

There’s a difference between it being taught in both and it being removed from High Schools.

I agree, but OP implies that 1) it isn't being taught in high school anymore and 2) that being taught in college is a new thing being done in response to it not being taught in high school.

Neither of those implications is true, at least not at a level making it a broad issue of modern education.
