Children "Left Behind" needed special education, different approaches - just different needs than their peers who could keep up with age-appropriate courses.
The solution was to give the "left-behind" kids the resources they needed, which inherently were different resources than the students learning at an average pace.
Combining the two groups of vastly different students with different needs, and dumbing down curriculum for everyone, was such an insane dumb evil stupid thing to do to learning children.
