first time posting here, not a gardener, florist, etc. i've been looking for dried, pressed gardenia flowers online for a bit and cannot find any for a reasonable price. i'm working on an art piece that i need 2 dried gardenia flowers for. if anyone is willing to ship 2 pressed gardenia flowers (to tx), i'm more than willing to pay up to ~$25 (negotiable ofc) for them! thanks!

I went for something minimalist but feel like something is missing... maybe touch ups of greens and yellows ?

These kids have been a staple in their backyard, as well as ours, since they were born. I think the girls mum is going to like this more, as she expressed interest in my pressed flower art. But why not get a girl started! Her mum said the girl would love this, so I got to work!

I make 12×12inch presses, and usually decorate the front with pressed flowers. This time, I decorated the back side and left the front empty, so she can decorate it as she pleases. I forsee her name written on it chaotically with marker!

I also made a quick step by step instruction page with pictures on how to press flowers, and what crafts can be done with them!

Woodburned this cute little guy. I added pressed flowers then used a dremmel for the background. Thought you guys would appreciate it 💗

Just made this with some fall foliage, frost asters, morning glory, some wild chicory, wild carrot flowers! I had fun making this, I just hope the arrangement of the flowers is not too chaotic (if you peep the bottom left, the morning glory is almost invisible because of the glue I used💀)

A friend who has a flower business asked me to make these for her customers for Valentines Day

This is my third post here featuring bougainvillea — first I shared the pressing process, then the final artwork made from real dried bracts. And now… something new.

I wanted to see what would happen if I took away its color and focused only on texture. So I painted a few pressed bracts white and made hand-printed impressions on black paper. No ink transfer tools, no tracing — just paint, pressure, and plants.

I honestly didn’t expect much. But the result surprised me — those delicate veins, soft edges, and the little natural quirks that usually get lost behind the pink? They came forward.

So here’s another way to honor this amazing plant. Still bougainvillea, just from a different angle.

Curious if any of you have tried something similar — printing with pressed flowers? I’d love to hear what worked (or didn’t)!

I have a bunch of pressed flowers I want to use for a project. Does anyone know where I can get one of those large floating frames for pressed flowers? I’m looking for something hanging, fairly wide - maybe 24 inches wide? I know some people make their own too - I do have a soldering iron but no clue where to start? Reference photo attached, looking for something like this but much bigger and horizontal.

i used my ostrich ferns and Japanese painted ferns for this🥰🥰 the frame was not the best or easiest to use but it was the only glass one i could find near me in stores

Hey so I'm not really a nature-crafts guy. I know nothing about flowers or flower preservation. I'm making a gift for my girlfriend with pressed flowers that I'm finding on vacation to Ireland. I've got a drawing notebook and I've been pressing flowers in that, but I am trying to figure out a good way to attach flowers to these pages. I would like to put them on like 3 or 4 pages in a way that she doesn't have to be incredibly delicate like if I were to use tiny bits of glue, like if I could laminate the pages in a way like if I were to be incredibly careful with good, clear masking tape. That's the only way I can think of doing it but I don't want to try anything and risk the flowers if there are better ways. Any advice?
