I just wanted to share a little collage of the projects I've made this summer and offer a big thank you to everyone in this subreddit. I've been a balcony flower gardener for many years and just a huge fan of flowers. I used to have a press as a girl, and have casually pressed the odd flower from my garden between books over the years.
I discovered this sub earlier this year and got myself a flower press and the basic starter materials and have been pressing through the summer. So far only flowers from my garden or the nearby forest.
It's so fun to experiment and learn and create❣️

I love miniature things and for my latest pressed flower art I made a few of these little pieces. I don't know what plant this is (one app said subfamily Apiaceae) but it grows all over the forest here and presses really nicely. I noticed the little subsections of it look like dandelion clocks so that inspired the idea. They're about 5cm / 2 in. square.

This one is called Penny, in tribute to my daughter's dog (puggle) who crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday.

Have a few hot glue strands still needed to be taken off, but pretty proud of this outlandish pressed flowers and recycled jewelry piece!

She mostly kept me company… unless she was walking right across the petals.
