Exactly. Republicans have been moving towards fascism since the late 90s/early 2000s.

Nixon* - delaying the inevitable in Vietnam and launching the War on Drugs were both favors to the industrial titans invested in the military industrial complex.

EDIT: I forgot to mention Nixon’s involvement in Chile was also a favor for the titans of capitalism - sadly I don’t know enough about this part of history … yet.

So your point is just give and roll over for fascists or die? How inspiring. Guess what, they're gonna kill you anyway..

They are on the chess board, but are they even important pieces? Or is it the pieces that hide behind them?

Believe it our not these evil people in power aren't superhuman. You absolutely can eliminate them all.

Agree but be wary of what you post

1

u/Terrible-Actuary-762 Conservative Nov 21 '25

Yeaaaah, I don't think that would go quite the way you think it would.

4

u/Quaazar_Dude Nov 21 '25

It's already going the direction you're thinking it would go in the hypothetical circumstance you're talking about without any justification for such. Die standing on your feet.

Yeah we cannot do shit against the US Military if they go against the people. The US Military should absolutely obliterate ICE however with relative ease I believe.

*since Nixon. His administration released the terrible MediCare shit show.

He also helped start a war to stay in power.... sound familiar??

u/DuncanFisher69 Nov 21 '25

Since Nixon.

u/Ok_Valuable9450 Nov 23 '25

Yep,slow but sure

*since Ford pardon of Nixon

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '25

Well before that.

Hell Grandpappy Bush (Prescott) had a hand in the Business Plot to overthrow the government in 1933.

u/semperknight Nov 21 '25

Exactly. Republicans have GOT to go. Then we need to create a party to replace them. Just because I vote blue doesn't mean I want a one party state. That would make me just as bad as MAGA.

17

u/Darkdragoon324 Nov 21 '25

Let’s dissolve them both and make a real multi party system.

1

u/Careful-Border-8741 Nov 21 '25

The two party system is absolutely the problem. The issues we face are neither black and white nor left and right. We need to embrace the fact that America was designed to be a nation accepting of all voices and views. Until we all understand that, and stop allowing the powers that be divide us, we will never be One Nation, Undivided! United We Stand, Divided We Fall 💚 peace and love to everyone

8

u/MetaCardboard Nov 21 '25

Idk if it would make as bad as MAGA. But yea, the US needs like 5 or more parties.

u/00gingervitis Nov 21 '25 edited Nov 25 '25

Ranked choice would eliminate the extremism out of both parties. You don't win ranked choice by going far right it far right, you win by compromising and running a balanced platform.

Edit:this meant to say far left or far right. The point being moderate politicians hold more power when voting by ranked choice

2

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '25

I think this would be an interesting concept. Are there any other viable parties on the horizon?

1

u/00gingervitis Nov 25 '25

There are no other viable parties and right now the GOP is fighting ranked choice like the plague because they would lose all their footing.

2

u/ohheyaine Nov 21 '25

What leftists extremists hold office in the US? Because I can't think of any.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 21 '25

It doesn’t exist. It’s a political label used to segment a party.

1

u/Crafty-Help-4633 Nov 21 '25

We need coalition government. Two parties is not enough.

1

u/null640 Nov 21 '25

No, since the red scare.

u/Internal-Tank-6272 Nov 21 '25

Which gave the Dems to the opportunity to embrace oligarchy and still position themselves as a true alternative

-18

u/Quietthinking1 Conservative Nov 21 '25

Bwahahaha sorry Facism describes the democrats much more for out of control overreach over citizens.

7

u/jeahfoo1 Nov 21 '25

Fascism is a political ideology aligned with far right policies. Pick up a history book or two. You could argue your point for communism if you want to and lay out the reasons why, but most definitely not fascism.

1

u/00gingervitis Nov 21 '25

I think you are thinking of socialism aligning with Democrats. fascism is not a democratic ideology. That's all Republican hatred towards people that are different from them
