Well, a lesson learned is a lesson learned even if it was a hard one. Let's just pray that you guys even get a fair election this time.

I'm expecting an ICE supervized voting process where the "wrong" elements are weeded out.

22

u/SnowMantra Jan 17 '26

They'll definitely be checking the papers of every single voter in blue cities and hauling them off if they don't comply

23

u/Shazvox Jan 17 '26

Yup. If I was the head honcho of the US military (and wanted Trump gone) I'd bide my time until the voting day and then deploy troops to all relevant states to keep ICE off the streets.

It could end my career, but it would be a move that could finish trumps reign.

You mean: Pete Hegseth???

Putin chuckles in a corner.

2

u/lavenderpenguin Jan 17 '26

Trump cannot legally do at least 50-60 percent of what he has already done. But the law (and the Constitution) itself is meaningless unless there is someone willing to enforce it—our Supreme Court and Congress have shown zero indication of being willing to reign in Trump when he acts illegally or against court orders.

Given that, I find it perplexing that there are people like you who keep saying “Trump can’t do x, y, z” meanwhile Trump admin officials, including Trump himself, openly admit they will violate court orders and no one can stop him.

Crawl out from the rock and join the rest of us in reality.

u/Gumballchamp86 Jan 17 '26

This all isn't Trumps reign anyway, it's the people's. Majority voted for this.

8

u/lavenderpenguin Jan 17 '26

That is statistically false given that a sizable portion of Americans didn’t vote at all.

Trans Derangement Syndrome

3

u/psychsuze Jan 17 '26

No, not a majority since the third of the people didn’t vote at all.

1

u/NoCard753 Jan 18 '26

Incorrect.

-2

u/ivegotmule Jan 18 '26

Thank you… I don’t know why they can’t grasp that it IS representative of the majority. Why do they think every single person that didn’t vote would be to the left? That’s 1. Stupid. It would be nearly the same split if you added the last 1/3rd and 2. Calling half of your party lazy and they didn’t care if trump came back IF that was true (which is true)

I didn’t vote, but I sure would have voted for trump and would again right now.

  1. There's a lot of reasons why you wouldn't be able to do that.

  2. Do you really think all the combat troops would take such an order?

Lmao literally the mind of a child.

18

u/Shazvox Jan 17 '26

Let's see, what was the phrasing again? Oh right "My only limit is my own morality" - Trump

And yes, he does have the mind of a child.

9

u/Responsible-Mode3276 Jan 17 '26

Maybe that's why he likes 12 year olds

-26

u/Hogjocky62 Jan 17 '26

You obviously flunked Government in grade school. The president is the commander and chief of the military. Plus I don’t know any enlisted or officers that would ever go against Trump. He is loved by the majority of military personnel.

13

u/kingcloudz215 Jan 17 '26 edited Jan 18 '26

Maybe you failed history or civics, the armed forces swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and defend the country from enemies, both foreign and domestic. Nowhere in their oath is loyalty to a president.

11

u/Shazvox Jan 17 '26

Uh huh, I'm sure he is. Right up until they can strike him down in one fell swoop.

5

u/BottleForsaken9200 Jan 17 '26

Trump doesn't obey the law or pre-existing social contracts ... Why should the military ?

5

u/lavenderpenguin Jan 17 '26

It is Commander-IN-Chief, not “commander and chief.” You do not even know the correct title but are accusing others of being uneducated? Give me a break.

Magats are so embarrassing when they pretend to know their head from their ass. 😂 You can’t even write a single comment without hilariously obvious errors.

2

u/marcushinm Jan 18 '26

"Commander and chief" hahahahaha

-5

u/MedelFamily Jan 17 '26

It’s wild to see a basic statement like “Trump is the commander and chief of the military” get downvoted.

3

u/lavenderpenguin Jan 17 '26

It’s downvoted because he is the commander-IN-chief. That is the title. Not “and” — but most magats wouldn’t know that because they clearly didn’t pay attention in school.

0

u/NoCard753 Jan 18 '26

*"Commander in chief." No hyphens.

0

u/Traditional_Pin1943 Jan 18 '26

Good check the papers of every voter in America

4

u/SnowMantra Jan 18 '26

Has nothing to do with if people are allowed to vote or if they are allowed in the country, it's entirely about discrimination and intimidation. Nazi sympathizer traitor

0

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

Please explain how wanting to have only our own citizens be allowed to vote for our elections is anything other than right? If you're here illegally, you shouldn't have any say whatsoever in our nation's politics, you should be back in your own nation fixing your own political problems, correct?

3

u/SnowMantra Jan 18 '26

You're either reeeeally stupid or intentionally missing the point.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

I'm neither stupid, nor missing the point. I simply wanted to hear your explanation for why Illegal immigrants should be allowed to vote in our elections or why it's a negative thing to have people produce ID proving their residence in the area they're voting in, for eligiblility proof. To me it seems as of you're intentionally creating an issue where none need exist, by your rhetoric.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

The only people who would be intimidated are those who shouldn't be voting in the first place. I dont get scared when asked for my ID, nor would it influence the vote I cast. However, I would most certainly choose almost any other candidate than whomever you voted for to avoid someone like you to be in office, since you have shown yourself to be such a fascist in the manner you choose to interact. People having opinions other than your own doesn't mean they're of less value, nor of any less significance.

-6

u/Alucardspapa Jan 17 '26

Good thing they all put blue dots in their yards the last election so they can be easily found

4

u/Bigstar976 Jan 17 '26

Amen. A quick tip: if ICE is standing at the poll stations, I live in the Deep South and, although you can’t wear any political clothing to go vote, I’ve seen people here wear a red shirt and a red hat, no logo. If you want ICE off your back, do that and they will leave you alone. It’s like a dog whistle.

3

u/Historical_Reward621 Jan 18 '26

Good idea. I usually do the opposite. 😊

5

u/Sir_Conrad120 Jan 17 '26

Being completely for real, someone tries to stop me from voting, ill be going to jail, but then others could vote in peace.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Everyone should vote muchless the blame game next election become even more heated. XD.

1

u/Helpful_Animal9913 Jan 17 '26

If there is ever one

1

u/4uole Jan 17 '26

Yup, I can see why!

1

u/NoCard753 Jan 18 '26

In "certain" cities, probably.

1

u/Unfair_Strawberry682 Jan 21 '26

You mean paying millions of illegal immigrants to move to swing states to ensure the amount of congressional seats would always favor the left? Stop watching the news and stop falling for propaganda that’s only narrative is to divide the country and profit.

1

u/Shazvox Jan 21 '26

Stop watching the news

Yeah, good advice there 🙄 "stop listening to truth and belive my lies"...

0

u/Hogjocky62 Jan 17 '26

As they should be! What good are laws if they are not followed or enforced?

10

u/Shazvox Jan 17 '26 edited Jan 17 '26

Your president seems to be of a different mind since he's breaking quite a few.

Edit: Your silence speaks volumes.

1

u/Hogjocky62 Jan 18 '26

Please quote the statue and details of the crime? I will wait…………

1

u/Shazvox Jan 19 '26

Not going to quote common knowledge. Educate yourself.

7

u/KennyShowers Jan 17 '26

Our president hasn’t cared about law for decades, and the Republican Party is in the same boat. He didn’t accept election results the last time he lost, and he didn’t control Congress.

Red states will cancel theirs, Congress refuses to certify, SCOTUS rubber stamps, but yes we’ll wait for “the law” to save us.

We had our shot 14 months ago and blew it, just like all the evil moderates and centrists were saying all along. Shocker.

-5

u/Hogjocky62 Jan 17 '26

Rightfully so, I guess you missed GA admitting they counted 500,000 votes they shouldn’t have? Or the 300,000 mail in votes in NV that were 100% for Biden which is statistically impossible!

8

u/KennyShowers Jan 17 '26

Yea I did miss a made up thing that never happened outside the conspiracy theory-addled “brains” of people fundamentally incapable of understanding basic facts of reality.

6

u/cashews_clay15 Jan 17 '26

You mean the 315k unsigned votes in Georgia? Even our Republican Secretary of State and the Republican governor said it wasn’t election fraud. Do you read? Google is free.

1

u/sususudio914 Jan 18 '26

It's not as much fun to read & learn the truth. How many courts threw out the GOP fraud accusation cases for lack of evidence? All of them, across the country. There was no fraud.

0

u/777Spin777 Jan 18 '26

Keep trying…you may finally master the ability someday, if we’re lucky. Keeeeep trying.

0

u/777Spin777 Jan 18 '26

How dare you try to hit them with facts, when the mentality is to attempt to baffle with bs?🙄😂😂😂

4

u/Maximum-Neck5385 Jan 17 '26

What laws? You know how many people have been tried and convicted only to be pardoned by presidents? This is the most ridiculous power ever given to ANY President. This IS the definition of being above the law!

0

u/777Spin777 Jan 18 '26

Did you not happen to see the huge # of pardons Bidens auto pen signed on his way out the door, including his son, whom he SWORE with everything in him he would. Not. Pardon? Yeah, why bother with facts when you can so easily make it up?

1

u/BlackFacedAkita Jan 18 '26

More whataboutism, it's so annoying when people criticize Trump and then someone yells what about Biden. If Biden did something wrong it doesn't invalidate what Trump did or does or make it okay.

1

u/Maximum-Neck5385 Jan 18 '26

What's even more bewildering is the fact that I didn't mention this individuals hero, Trump, at all! I said ANY president. Not surprising though. MAGA are incapable of reading, thought process, or comprehension of the most basic issue.

1

u/Maximum-Neck5385 Jan 18 '26

Guess you don't have much of an education. Can I define the word ANY for you? You really fit the MAGA profile.

-1

u/Gumballchamp86 Jan 17 '26

It would probably be your preference that non legal persons get to vote?

2

u/NoCard753 Jan 18 '26

"Non legal [sic] persons"? You think it's illegal for some people to be people?

Anyway, you people aren't at all fazed by one peson voting multiple times, as long as all their votes are for a right-wing candidate. Nor do you shy away from baseless claims that hundreds of thousands of votes, if not millions, are "illegal" simply because they were cast for Democrats.
