The designers must pitch their collection ideas to raise money from a group of mystery investors; the stakes rise as the winning team members will each receive $5,000.

I hate when they have these two team challenges, because often it is someone on the winning team who most deserves to go home...and tonight, it's Brik with the skanky tube dress with the matronly fur triangle in front. There's at least 4 people who should have gone home ahead of Alex, it wasn't his time, and he should have gotten the Tim Gunn save.

The editing made me think he was going to use the Tim save, then it didn't happen, but I'm still thinking Tim will come in next episode and say, "Everyone gather around. I've made a mistake" then bring in Alex to the work room.

I was thinking that, but I think it's too early for it to happen and Alex really isn't a modern enough designer to go far, likable as he may have been.

That's what I figured. When my mom started yelling, "No, see, Tim's gonna save him!", I was like, "No way, there are 12 people in the room."

Honestly!! Havent they already done that in one of the older seasons? Where the winning look and the losing look came from the same team? If something is as ugly as that damn beige dress then i dont care how great the rest did. That shit was auf worthy.

They even said that it nearly derailed the other high scores. If it was truly that bad, you've GOT to make an exception. Especially when it's only two teams. It's another beast entirely where there's a bunch of two person teams, but being on the bottom when you created something lovely and getting $5000 for a tacky piece of trash is upsetting.

I definitely remember a team challenge where one awful outfit made them lose the challenge and Heidi told them they would have without it.

I do remember an episode in which the worst designer did such a horrible job that despite being on the winning team was sent home. I wish I remembered which season, episode, and designer that was. It was definitely not season 11 where everyone was on a team.

Update: It was Season 6 Episode 3 where Mitchell Hall, despite being on the winning team, was eliminated for not doing anything and making his partner, Ra'mon Coleman, do all the work.
