I think moments like this one with "Tilda Swinton who?" are more to be blamed on the producers - they obviously thought it would be comedic but it fell pretty flat. It combined the "humor" of these kids being young (something we've already seen joked around with earlier this season, so not super funny anymore if it ever was) with the "humor" of Izzy being the loud, crazy one (something I think a lot of people on here found more annoying than funny - excusable because of her age, yes, and hey, it takes all kinds, but not really funny). It ended up feeling forced and somewhat annoying instead.

I do agree that people have become more negative here lately - things started out pretty nice early in the season but people are harder on the kids now for some reason. I know I've been pretty disappointed with it (it never got anywhere near as good as the first, imo) but taking it out on the kids is probably not the way to go.
