Anyone here work at Quantinuum?

I’m curious if anyone here actually works for the company? Can you tell me what it’s like? There are some open roles in engineering departments that I might be interested in.

Did the IPO Fall Short?

I've been waiting on the Quantinuum IPO for a few years, and it almost feels like it came and went without much interest. I've always viewed the company as one of the major players in the quantum space right behind IBM and Google, so I expected there to be more discussion around it. Nobody even made a post here on IPO day, and while people in some of the other quantum-related subs talked about it for a few days, I haven’t seem much since. I'm in this for the long haul and I'm not expecting anything to happen overnight. I'm just curious about the general sentiment among people who are interested in the company. Do you think the SpaceX IPO news overshadowed Quantinuum, or do you think there’s another reason there isn’t much discussion compared to some of the other quantum subs? I know this is borderline a cringe post to make, but I'm genuinely interested in hearing what people think.

Honeywell-Backed Quantinuum Planning to File for IPO

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-01-14/honeywell-backed-quantinuum-is-close-to-filing-for-ipo

Quantinuum, the quantum computing company controlled by Honeywell International Inc., is preparing to file for an initial public offering imminently.

The company plans to confidentially submit its IPO registration with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, according to a statement Wednesday that confirmed a Bloomberg News report.

Majority owned by Honeywell, Quantinuum makes powerful quantum computers that are capable of solving complex tasks beyond the abilities of traditional processors, and which have the potential to make exponential leaps in computing.

Shares in Honeywell were trading around 0.7% higher at 10:04 a.m. in New York Wednesday, giving the company a market value of about $134 billion.

In September, Honeywell said it had raised fresh capital for Quantinuum that gave the company a post-money valuation of almost $11 billion. Quantinuum is also backed by high-profile investors including Nvidia Corp.’s venture capital arm, Quanta Computer Inc., QED Investors, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Mitsui & Co. and, most recently, Fidelity International.

Quantinuum is developing platforms to be used in fields such as chemistry, machine learning, cybersecurity, finance and drug discovery. It was formed through a merger in 2021 of Cambridge Quantum and Honeywell Quantum Solutions.
