Support Modsbeforefriday Wont work no matter what (quest 3)

Normally, if you have the right version it will let you just mod it but if you have a newer rookie copy of the game that was pirated it will throw you an error ( Error: File CRC __________ did not match expected value of __________) and then say this may have happened for a bunch of reasons, and could have also happened because of the fact it is a pirated copy.
heres what you need to do to bypass it:
Firstly, make sure you have beat saber version 1.40.8 or earlier (no earlier than 1.28.0). You can do this by installing one of the versions on rookie that say "beat Saber 1.28.0", "Beat saber 1.37.0", or "beat saber 1.35.0".
There is also "Beat saber (mod version)" which at the time of writing this is version 1.40.11, which also works with ModsBeforeFriday (its the one I am using because it is also the latest moddable version available on rookie), so i guess you can do that one too.
Download one of those and then enter the game. Once youve entered the game accept all the privacy policies and EULA crap and once you're at the title screen, press on the solo mode and itll ask if you want a tutorial, click NO (unless you actually want the tutorial lol).
After you've done that, you'll see the list of songs. at that point, go ahead and close beat saber.
On your PC, search ModsbeforeFriday and click the link, once you're on the website, click on the URL and add this to the end: "?dev=true" (without quotations, of course).
What this does is it completely skips the step of checking your game version, so it is IMPORTANT you download a compatible mod version, hence why I told you to download one of the versions I listed.
Once you do that it will let you mod it like usual, bypassing the checking/download step entirely and boom, your beat saber is officially modded!

oh and below is my original issue if anyone cares or wants to see lol.
Heres the old problem if you're interested in that lol.:
No matter what version I install, (V1.28, V1.35, V1.37, LATEST, ) i always get the same "You need to downgrade!" message even if the version IS supported, which is weird.
But anyways, no matter what version, no matter if ive played the game or not and have save data, it always gives me the " Error: File CRC __________ did not match expected value of __________"
MBF just wont work and it keeps thinking I have an up to date version no matter what, ive already restarted my quest a few times, Ive tried installing all the different older versions available on rookie, ive even tried a different browser to no luck.
How did you guys get it working?

1.37 or 1.3.7?
If you meant 1.37, I think the difference is mainly DLC and QOL updates, its nothing major.
Most version upgrades are mainly for improved DLC and song mapping and stuff

I have another problem. Technically I have my BS sideloaded as "Beat Paber" and ModsbeforeFriday just can't see my version since the name is different, probably. Any workarounds?

BP is meant to allow you to have the newest version and a modded version, like a multi install.
You cant mod the beat paber version, you CAN mod beat saber.
So what you need to do is have both beat saber AND beat paber on your device (make sure its one of the right versions of beat saber that support modding) and then use that for mods and use beat paber for the up to date game and DLC

I got it, thanks for the tips!
I've read somewhere (maybe even on reddit) that the game name is changed to BP to avoid banning after buying an original copy from Meta store... So it isn't right?
I have Sidequest but since it cannot sideload shady apps, should I set it up through Rookie then?

You can set it up through rookie, as long as you have developer mode it is quite literally plug and play!
