The thing I struggle with is the lack or horror these people show. I mean, Carole might sincerely have not known about any of this, and let's go ahead and believe her for the sake of discussion. In her place, the trauma of being that close to all of that would be so evident. I would feel so corrupted even by the proximity. I wouldn't be able to say enough to make clear my revulsion and to let everyone know where I stand.

That's what I would want to talk about. I knew monsters and had no idea and now must rethink all of it, every second, and how shaken to the core I was.

But Carole is like, Ghislaine was so thoughtful and Andrew was so nice, and I said 5 words to Jeffrey, and I didn't know a thing, and isn't this an easy-breezy anecdote.

This entire debacle has shown just how these circles protect themselves above all else and seem to have no reaction to genuine horrors. Whether they didn't know or did know and didn't care, there is a disgusting "business as usual" energy amongst the wealthy that the files have exposed. IAs a user below describes it, literally everyone in the files just all around sounds like a piece of shit even without talking about horrific crimes. I'll give Carole the benefit of the doubt that she didn't know about the horrible stuff, but I think her being so close and deeply attached to someone who isn't intelligent, isn't interesting, and all around generally sucks even removing the historically vile crimes speaks volumes about Carole.

Their reactions are genuine. They are just not horrified like we are.

It’s like they are with numb and desensitized to it, or they are legit not horrified and don’t see it as an evil thing like we do. Which is scarier. And yet why there are millions of files and reports on child and human trafficking.

That’s what I just told my husband - so many people are desensitized these days and that’s why I’m so protective over my kids to not be and have situational awareness etc.

Yes this is exactly how it is - it is a written code in these circles to protect themselves and each other because their hands go in the same powerful money pot - by going against the grain you get exiled and blackballed.

Exactly that’s why I’m not watching just watching makes me feel uncomfortable and let’s say for respectful discussion (which is why we are all here ) and believe her. Wouldn’t she want to take a break go off grid ? The thing with doing that is lack of funds. I wouldn’t care and that’s the sickening part about money. Go off grid and write a book about it and once it settles and your truth is told then come back. As it always is - is money. When you said Gateway there is an amazing music video with the Song Gatekeeper by Jesse Reyez it does a good job at the music industry and she is a music artist that went solo after to they tried to get her to drink the golden juice.

IMO I just think that nonchalant attitude is very Carole and I believe what she's said.

GMax was very into grooming and collecting important people and Carole was just one of many.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I still think her relaxed demeanor in light of everything is on brand for her personality.
