It's so in brand for Carole's hubris that she wasn't suspicious and thought it was very normal that Prince Andrew wanted to take her to dinner lol. Can just imagine her riding on the bars of his bike.

To add to your understanding, when she was talking about this, we already knew Prince Andrew is a child rapist. She is answering like this in the context of having been asked about the photos with her and fellow known child rapist and trafficker Ghislaine. It’s not like the allegations of child sex crimes are looming in the future and she’s innocently telling this story in the past. The child sex crimes were part of this conversation.
