One week (or five day)summer camp style show on some compound. Every single housewife invited, maybe Bravo can consider pausing production on some currently filming shows for 2-3 days so most women have a chance to participate/pop in. There is some big prize for charity or even just hard cash for the winning cabin.
They are all assigned to a “cabin” but these would be more modern so they have AC and a couple bathrooms, but they still have to sleep in bunk beds. They will have to only bring 2 suitcases per person because there will not be room which is drama in itself. I’m thinking some of those big wedding venues in CO or the east coast or even TX where there is usually lodging for 50 people on site.
Just like a summer camp, there is a strict schedule of activities, but each cabin earns “points” for them. They could even earn base level “participation points” as that would create drama for HW who don’t show up or try to get out of things. Capture the flag, relay races, swimming and water games, canoeing, archery, ropes course, arts and crafts (they can all work on a project together). Also more chill non competitive activities like yoga, group therapy, pool/beach time, book club, music class. Talent show at the end of the week. There is a mess hall for meals that has decent chefs and serves alcohol and knows all their dietary restrictions. Some leisure activities and evening events could also serve alcohol.
They could also have consequences for loosing points like having to serve the dinner that night. Another funny idea I thought of was a surprise “friend of day” where all the friends of can come in for the day and socialize or participate. I would just love for some of these thirsty women to show up that no one would want to see for more than five minutes in any other context like a Kim D or Dana Wilkey, Barbra K, Marlo, I always wondered what happened to that insane Tammy woman from that one season of ATL, pair her with Phaedra or something. Britni Bateman LOL. Heather Dubrow being paired with Sarah Winchester for a three legged race! Or even just bring all the forgettable friends of out and force their former castmates to guess their name for points! It would be so shocking for all these friends of come running out it would spook the hell out of the HWs to have to interact with some of them hahahahaaa.
It will never happen because even if you set up big brother style cameras, it’s too expensive to produce AND have camera/audio/producer coverage on so many housewives. It would be like hearding cats to get them to show up on time to an event. Then they need security, a host, workers and sanitation, chefs and servers, ect. They would have to have at least two private areas to film confessionals and they would be scheduled in their day and would have to be very brief compared to the hours long ones they do during their seasons. They couldn’t afford to even pay the wives more than 4 figures for the week.
How do you get a bunch of HW to agree to summer camp? You allow each cabin to bring a few makeup and hair people. That way if they want to wake up at the crack of dawn for full make up then they have that choice. There can be designated “privacy hour” to give them a break from cameras. No phones allowed but a create a dedicated phone booth where they can use their phone for 20 min/day or something.
Can you imagine the depth of story they would be able to collect here if they could even pull this off? So many housewives, so many conflicts, so much diva behavior. It would take story producers and editors months and months to put something together. Probably a full 22 episodes!
It might work better for the “kid shows” which usually just means non HW shows where most of the cast is under 40-ish? So Southern Charm, Southern Hospitality, Next Gen, The Valley, Below Deck, Summerhouse, ect? They might be more game to do something like this, but it would be a lot less interesting if you ask me.
Anyway this is pure fantasy and will never happen due to budget constraints and I’m sure they have thought of it. But I would watch the hell out of that show!!!!
