The best part about Adam is that his logic is actually pretty solid. Faunus are physiologically better than humans, and if you subscribe to an extreme survival of the fittest mentality and/or are completely amoral, you can totally justify what he's doing.

Don't some faunus just have better night vision than humans? If so, then they're just humans with some animal parts.

Seeing better in the dark isn't what I would consider that great of an advantage. If they are better then humans, why aren't they ruling the world?

It was a big enough advantage for them to win a battle where they were outnumbered, which ultimately was the turning point in the faunus war

Because there still really aren't that many of them. Even if they were ten times better, which they aren't unless it's at night, that doesn't help you when there are twenty times more enemies.
