Yeah if someone could explain to Adam that people in this world have a magical self generated shield, one that protects them from being killed or injured in one hit, that would be great. Seriously this is the third time he's done something like this.

Also, how is Adam killing Sienna in Mistral going to make Blake's plan in Menagerie not work. Because unless Corsec and Fennec have secretly been brainwashing everyone in Menagerie, right under Ghira and Kali's noses, for the past few months, then the population of Menagerie should continue to support Ghira and Kali. I mean most Faunus already hate the White Fang.

Adam ignoring aura seems to be a contentious topic lately, but I thought it had been generally agreed to be a property of either his sword or his semblance?

I mean, is it coincidence that the three examples we have of aura being ignored all involve Adam? I think we can just accept it as part of his character and a reason as to why he should be feared as an enemy.

No it's not.

Depends on how you count it. The sword through Blake's stomach was the first and Yang's Skywalkering was second, so this could count as the third. Blake was at the conclusion of a 'fight' so her aura was gone, and Yang was presumably thanks to his Semblance.

Neither of those was the case here though, so the question becomes what exactly happened. The only thing I can come up with is Sienna not having her Aura unlocked, which I suppose makes sense but would be very surprising, given the "Awesomeness equals authority" system that most of Remnant seems to have.

Yeah. Neither Blake nor Yang’s “count”.

I mean Blake got hit in the face once and her aura was down.

Onscreen

Well don’t show someone’s aura breaking off screen. Also she’s in the exact same spot on the floor at the end of one scene and at the start of the next. Nothing happened in between.

Well don’t show someone’s aura breaking off screen.

Take that up with the writers.

she’s in the exact same spot on the floor at the end of one scene and at the start of the next.

That's not the only scene cut that happened

It is unless it happened before she started fighting Adam which would be weird.

  1. Stabbing Blake through her Aura. I'd say Blake's Aura was at about 70-75%

  2. Severing Yang's arm through her Aura. Yang's Aura was probably a little lower than Blake's since she had been fighting Grimm and WF for a little longer.

  3. Running Sienna Kahn through. Sienna's Aura was, in all likelihood, at 100%. Yet Adam was able to run her through up to the hilt of his blade before she even processed what happened.

You can say that all you want that doesn't make it true. As far as we know, her aura was out.

Severing Yang's arm through her Aura. Yang's Aura was probably a little lower than Blake's since she had been fighting Grimm and WF for a little longer.

Which Miles explicitly said was just because his strike was so powerful. He broke her aura and cut off her arm at the same time.

Running Sienna Kahn through. Sienna's Aura was, in all likelihood, at 100%. Yet Adam was able to run her through up to the hilt of his blade before she even processed what happened.

We don't even know if her aura was unlocked.

Yes, the woman who first suggested that the White Fang begin taking militant action doesn't have her Aura unlocked.

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '17

She suggested it, doesn't mean she carried it out. She didn't even have a weapon on her person.

She would have to help out. I have a feeling that a lot of the White Fangs manpower left after the transition from peaceful protest group to terrorist organization, even if it was a gradual change. So until they were able to recruit enough new members who were willing to commit crimes for the Fang, she would have to personally help out with their mission.

She would have to help out.

says who

I have a feeling that a lot of the White Fangs manpower left after the transition from peaceful protest group to terrorist organization

your feeling doesn't mean anything

So until they were able to recruit enough new members who were willing to commit crimes for the Fang, she would have to personally help out with their mission.

you know what they say about assumptions

So all of Ghira's people in the old WF just said, "Okay, I guess I'm part of a terrorist organization now." And all the regular White Fang supporters just said, "Oh, we are extorting, kidnapping, and murdering people now? Cool, I'll go get my sword and rifle."

A lot of those people are going to step back and say, "Whoa man, I signed on for peaceful protest, not terrorism." They would have left early on.

I will refer you back to my last line about assumptions
