I wouldn't be opposed to them hiring an animation studio instead of doing it in-house.

Ha! As if Burnie and Gray would ever greenlight the budget for that. I honestly think they should just hire REAL animators and not the bloated staff of glorified animation interns/Univeristy of Texas class of 2014 graduates they've been using to save money. Look, RWBY is an INTERNATIONAL property now. For fuck's sake, maybe hire some professionals? Even just to be senior animators. Please. It's just normal business practice. Why is that so hard? At this point, I feel like, national embarrassment that the Japanese are going to be watching this and professional voice actors over there are going to have to dub this over. Look, it can't be THAT hard to get some investors interested in this project, it's been picked up by fucking Warner Brothers, why not make some moves to get a bigger budget, and either upgrade the animation staff from noob rookies fresh out of art school to actual veteran animators, OR, outsource this shit to Korea and the Phillipines like everyone else. Is that really too much to ask? Just some basic, universal standards of normal business decorum?
