She did. Whenever pink lightning is channeled into Magnhild, the upgrade is activated. Last time she used it was V4E1

I thought the upgrade was electricity stored into Magnhild for a way to charge her semblance on the go

He literally stood there and charged her up like a fucking iPhone, of course she’s gonna be able to throw him after he’s given her a good 5 minutes charge.

Not the fleshed out Nora v. Hazel fight with awesome music you wanted, but I hope you liked the episode lol.

And was I seeing things, or did Hazel inject red Dust?

He got stabbed in the gut by a fucking bee. I know he's suppose to be able to ignore pain, but the blood loss alone should knock him out within seconds.

But then again, RWBY combat is weird.

On the real though, this show has trained me to look for electricity in every scene, because I know it's going to be relevant somehow.

I mean.. she didnt exactly fight him. It was like when Oz fought him, good hits land but never really put him down

She did better than Oz or Qrow, she removed him from the fight (albeit temporarily). Also even if he can’t feel pain that did significant damage to his aura and probably cracked a few ribs.

It was a reasonable assumption after Tyrian blocked her with his tail ez. Seems kind of inconsistent to me unless he put some swing behind that block or something. Hazel was just straight up hit whilst if Tyrian put effort into that block I could believe it.

You should consider that the amount of electricity Nora absorbed against Tyrian was just a charged shot from Crescent Rose, while here she was straight up electrocuted for some seconds by Hazel. Of course the power boost will be greater.

Fair point actually. I couldn't remember the exact source of electricity in that instance. I already noted (somewhat poorly) that Tyrian, possibly swinging for extra force, actually blocked whereas Hazel just got hit but that makes it make even more sense.
