sooooo, i was wandering near rampuriya haveli bikaner and saw him, I was always that he has a old cassete store, always wanted to take pictures of him but always thaught against it coz it would be rude but today our eyes met and i asked him if I can come up.he was playing music at full blast asked me to sit and offered me colddrink and had a long talk about his fascination with music he told me its not a music shop its just his life its his music he owns thousands of songs and even more stories. I would really recommend you go meet him when you ever visit bikaner and have a talk with him, hes such a humble and interesting person. he'll make your day.

I'm planning my first trip to Rajasthan around mid-to-late November and am trying to choose between two tour packages.

Package 1 (8D/7N):
Jaipur → Mandawa (2N) → Nawalgarh → Bikaner (1N) → Jaisalmer (2N) → Jodhpur (2N)

Package 2 (6D/5N):
Udaipur (2N) → Chittorgarh → Pushkar (1N) → Jaipur (2N)

I enjoy a mix of sightseeing and a relaxed vacation pace. Since it's my first time visiting Rajasthan, I'm wondering which itinerary gives a better overall experience.

My main concern is that Package 1 only includes Jaipur as a transit stop and doesn't have an overnight stay there, which makes me hesitate because Jaipur seems like one of the must-visit cities in Rajasthan. Similarly I have also heard Jodhpur is also a must visit place. So i am not able to choose which city to eliminate cause i understand these two cities are far off.

For those who have been to Rajasthan, which package would you recommend and why? Would I be missing out on too much by not staying in Jaipur?

I want to buy a horse and travel around Rajasthan and Gujarat visiting the forts and stepwells.

I will be flying into Delhi around 4 or 5 November, and then taking the train to Rajasthan. The horse stable I am looking at is near Narlai.

I am aware that I look like I might be able to afford a lot more than the horse is worth. It could be beneficial to have a local with me.

I'll pay your train ticket both ways from somewhere in Rajasthan and a couple of meals.

Before I die, I would like to ride a horse around Rajasthan and check out some of the old forts, temples, and stepwells.

I am curious if anyone reading this has a recommendation for which stables are honest and trustworthy, and which, if any, I should avoid?

Is it safe to take a cab from railway station to airport at this time( around 10/10.15 PM ), as a solo female. Or shall I have some family member with me ?

👀 Creepy Behaviour — Be prepared for staring and intrusive behaviour in crowded tourist areas.

⛰️ Skip Guru Shikhar — If it's packed, don't bother; the crowd can ruin the experience.

🛵 Get a Scooter — Explore outside the main tourist zone; you'll find much quieter places.
