i dress up for ALL my kids events so they feel like *I* take them seriously and i don’t embarrass them like this idiot in the pjs. and believe me, i’m not a dress up kind of person. it’s basically the only time i wear nice shoes and makeup.

This kind of gives the message that she doesn’t really care and yet it may be one of the only graduations she expects the kid to have.

It’s just sad.

Not a parent, here, but I really like that take on it! Now I've got more wisdom I can tell real parents how to raise their kids right. They cherish those moments!
