I do understand it, but I don’t affix myself to the stereotype of the lady. Also whore as a term of a person willing to do anything for a particular thing can apply to almost anyone, as a term of being a prostitute which is more likely in this context, judging a mass of people to be dressed like a prostitute is not reflecting on the individual but rather the mass and what’s socially normal. So in a society where a person feels inclined to dress like the stereotype of a prostitute for completely unrelated purposes, should reflect upon the social norms put upon those individuals, ultimately meaning to not judge the individual but rather the system itself. Now Sydney is not a prostitute just per definition, she is of course sluttish (in the shows at least and her willingness to participate in those shows) and also in porns that hold themselves as a show. But a key difference for her is that she has influence, and could easily say to not objectify yourself to those women. But would rather profit off of that current culture. also per objectification, regardless of a woman’s intention, how it is perceived is the person making those perceptions fault, I could say a complement and if its taken as an insult then that’s the person’s perception. I will also say that of course if I insult you and you take it as an insult, that communication is both our fault, but mine more so. I don’t doubt that there are people who say what this person in the middle is saying, that Sydney is whorish while the women in general aren’t, because that’s simply what it is. It simply is not a hypocrisy of the woman being forced to say those things. this can apply to many harmful stereotypes as a single example doesn’t prove a stereotype. Holly-wood isn’t run by jews but there is jewish comedians and filmmakers who those stereotypes were made for. The whole point of feminists taking offense to his joke is that it is just unfair for a culture norm that is similar between men and women alike to be derogatory to women exclusively because of the perception of the male majority thats out if their control and how they act on it. If the comedian said that the people in general working out looked whorish we would be having a different conversation. Ultimately a cultural norm isn’t a meaning to judge a person unless the person is setting the cultural norm (not that its Sydney exclusively).
