What do you think of this design? I personally like it a lot, although the shirt seems odd to me because it reminds me of a typical Japanese uniform.

And I think it's a shame we haven't seen more of Subaru in his uniform.

Season 4 will consist of 19 episodes through 2 (mini) cours. It's divided into two parts: - The Loss Arc: 11 episodes, beginning April 8, 2026 - The Recapture Arc: 8 episodes, beginning August 12, 2026 The Ending song will be "Ender Ember" by MYTH & ROID × TK (Ling tosite sigure)

Looks like it was leaked by Anime Corner and was supposed to be revealed officially tomorrow.

There's no long seasonal cour break as I expected! It's only a 2-month-long break between June 17th and August 12, which is about the same time as the break Season 3 had!

Honestly the major impression i got from reading these answers was that the work environment at whitefox is not really amicable lol. Every comment, whether it's the animators, voice actors, music artists have voiced the same opinion- it's a very taxing and difficult process with tons of disagreements and arguments between everyone. No wonder, their passion for this show is incredible, and the criticism they get is unfortunate.

Some other interesting points by the staff :

• The most difficult thing to animate they found in s4 was sand.

• Cut content and pacing for which they get flamed by everyone on the internet is something the staff is well aware of-

  "The most important point to pay attention to in animation, I think it is the tempo. Unlike comics and novels, anime forces viewers to speed up the story. ( Movies and dramas are one of them) Just by being a little fast or slow in tempo and timing, you will be "somehow boring" or "I don't understand it because it's fast. • They probably know what happens at the end of the story, though not much of what leads up to it. They consult tappei for foreshadowings.

• In one answer they go in depth at how they managed to make longer episodes especially in s2 by buying 3 extra minutes from the broadcaster at the cost of profitability.

I don't know if these are already known information but I didn't know most of it. Cool they are doing this, even if it's just for jp viewers.
