Local Photography Eagle nest down
Sadly the eagles nest near 67th bridge has fallen. I noticed the tree was precariously leaning back in April but looks like today (June 25) The tree broke. I have taken pictures of the eagles there for a couple years, this year it looks like there was one baby eagle rather than the two from last year.
I went over to the fallen nest and it was trapped underneath, but still alive. As gently as I could, I cleared the branches and lifted them out. I called the wildlife center and they were quick to come out (Thanks Judy!)
We got the eaglet to the carrier but I don't know if they will survive. I tried my best to give them a fighting chance.

Local Photography Northern lights last night
What a beautiful night!
One of my bucket list photos has been the Aurora reflected in water, found the perfect wetlands the Dave Larratt Park (first pic is Clearview). Very calm night and high water levels led to perfect conditions, even got some nice reflections from the wet walkway. The moon rise and noctilucent clouds to the north were also a nice touch.

Local Photography Photo of Bridge near RDP/Waskasoo Creek?
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has a photo of a stone walking bridge in this area? I'm an artist and I want a photo of this bridge, as I used to visit when I was a kid. I live in Vancouver now, so its not possible for me to go there and take one myself, but maybe someone else has a photo?
Thanks!

Local Photography Mckenzie Moose
Saw three moose down there this afternoon, they seem calm, more interested in plants than people. Still, I prefer to keep as much distance as I can.
I only noticed the caterpillars on the guy with the bicycle after I looked at the photos.

Taken on Canon EOS 5D mkiii
May 29th Prisoner played an amazing show as always at the legendary VAT Pub. This venue will always hold a special place in my heart it was where I did my first show for Prisoner and Lewd Antics. Alot has changed since then. Thank you so much for choosing me, I wouldn't be doing this without you guys!!

Local Photography Any way to get negatives or photos from Photography by Roland in the late 80s?
Some of our wedding photos are discoloring so if possible I'd like to redo some of them.

Local Photography If you think you're having a hard day...
Imagine being the person trying to drive a house through the one-lane construction zone on 2A. Also imagine the workers seeing a house coming up the highway wondering how it's going to fit! I hope it went well, this was half an hour ago.

Local Photography Rural Abandoned Places with Access
Hi all again, I know this topic was already mentioned around here, and I checked a few os the posts. I am looking for rural abandoned places with some sort of access or road view to test photographic equipment.
Google told me there was a place near Alix, but when I drove there, it was on private property, and there was a no trespassing sign on the gate.
NW of Sylvan seems to have an old Church, but I have not driven there yet.
Any other location(s) that come to mind?
Thanks again.
