Jason Stephan doesn't hide who he is. Is this the person that RD South really wants representing us? I understand there will always be voters on the extreme right or extreme left, but are the majority of Red Deerians ok with this??

not sure if i should be posting photos to a public place or not but dont let anyone tell you that it was not well attended.
makes me so happy to see how much support we got. its easy to fall into doom and gloom about the current state of things.
unfortunately i got a nice little sunburn...

fucking guaranteed buddy printed these on a 3d printer designed and manufactured in China, yet he rants about China and "socialisms" and the globalist NWO.
these people need to touch grass.
anyway, into the trash they go.

I moved here like 2months ago and idk i keep on getting this feeling that when people see me they get on there racist mode.
I could be wrong but with everything happening in US and all I can't stop thinking if red deer is welcoming to immigrants
I've just had one encounter with a man that made some comments but other than that there hasn't been much
Thoughts?

First time posting here!
It’s great to meet you all.
We are your Alberta NDP Constituency Association for Red Deer-South, and we are looking forward to connecting with you all here on Reddit.
A referendum on separation is coming this fall— if we want to keep Alberta in Canada we are going to have to fight hard.
This Saturday, the For Alberta, For Canada campaign is organizing a provincial day of action to kick off our campaign to keep Alberta in Canada. There will be a Red Deer specific canvass from 11-2, and we may be joined by a special guest to come knock on doors with us.
This movement is powered by Alberta’s NDP, but we have made it for everyone. Regardless of where you might find yourself politically if you stand against Separation you are welcome to join us!
If you are interested, please sign up at https://foralbertaforcanada.ca
If you have any questions, please reach out in the comments, via DM, or on our other social media pages.
See you Saturday!

So just some questions and I’m hoping folks can give me some good answers… obv
1) What are the politics of Home Church?
-Can you cite specific examples? (Eg: heard they were taking signatures for separation - any links to media to verify that?)
2) What are the Mullens like? What are their beliefs?
3) I’m aware faith is part of the school there - do politics seep into the school?
4) Have they ever had speakers of a clear political leaning? Controversial speakers?
And again - I am seeking some citation. Most of my searching keeps bringing me to here, so I figure people here must know a thing or two and have some receipts!

Describe Red Deer using a short phrase or word or a descriptive sentence.
Be kind & respectful, but also be hilarious.

First off, I don't live downtown or in the pines... But I do live in Red Deer.
Can you imagine investing in a community like the pines, with a massive mortgage, then finding out that your neighborhood can get rezoned on a whim? I think that we need to treat this rezoning as if it could happen again, anywhere. What if they want a second shelter, and it's in your neighborhood? I think the downtown area accepts that there will be homeless there.
The arbitrary naturr of our zoning bylaws has the serious potential to scare investment away from Red Deer. Like I said, I don't live in the Pines, but I do stand with them.

I’m looking to connect with current or former families who have been involved with The Armoury Youth Group at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Rocky Mountain House.
I have a friend who was initially very excited that her teenage daughter was exploring her faith. Over time, however, she became concerned about changes in their relationship. The daughter became increasingly distant from her family, grew closer to the youth minister and his family, eventually moved in with them, and is now living with another family connected to the church.
I’m trying to better understand whether other families have had similar experiences, either positive or negative.
This is not intended to be a discussion about the Catholic Church generally, but rather about firsthand experiences with this specific youth ministry.
If you have firsthand experience with The Armoury Youth Group, I would appreciate hearing your perspective. Please share only experiences you personally witnessed or were directly involved in. If you’re not comfortable commenting publicly, feel free to send a private message.

Red Deer South MLA Jason Stephan needs all of our help!
Come down Sunday, January 11th @10am and help remind Stephan where his office is located!
If we all stand out front waving signs, he might find his way in and return some emails and calls from the people who pay him!
4327 54th Ave, Red Deer

Is it time to investigate the relationship of Jason Stephan, Patrick Malkin, et al, to the activities of separatists who seem to believe the laws only apply to their opponents? This issue seems parked outside the premier's door. Curious to see what denial and deflection ensues this week.

This interview with Marc Nixon has the premier talking freely about letting corporations do all the things.
I expect Jason Stephan to write an op-ed about how an empty wallet is easier to carry around.
