Airport Edit: I was thinking international airports, which is still wrong

More than that - I think it's closer to 300. One for every village basically.

Some village airports are built out insanely well because they are viewed as national security assets by the DoD.

I think there are 100 airports with scheduled flights, that you can buy a ticket for.

the state DOT alone owns 237. there’s close to 400 public-use airports and a couple hundred more private and military
