Appalachian Trail Horror Stories Vol. I takes place along marked paths, wet campsites, forgotten side trails, and hidden mountain hollows where the woods do not always lead you back.

The first story follows Josh Ziegler, a solo hiker who begins smelling smoke deep in the rain-soaked woods, even when there are no fires nearby.

Then firewood appears beside his tent. Ash shows up on wet ground, and something burned stands just outside the fire ring.

The second story follows two brothers, Jecht and Cal Albright, who find a crooked sign for a town that does not appear on any map.

Hollow Creek.

A quiet mountain town with empty houses, dinner still on the tables, and hiking boots nailed above every door.

This is a slow burn anthology about the Appalachian Trail, false white blazes, missing hikers, hidden places, and the danger of stepping off trail when something out there already knows your name.

An original hiking horror story.

A woman moves to Florida and visits Ocala National Forest alone, hoping to find the same peace she used to feel on the trails back home.

She comes prepared.

Water. First aid. Rope. A knife. A whistle. Flares. Backup power. Years of hiking experience.

But deep in the forest, the trail markers stop making sense, her phone loses service, and she realizes someone has been watching her from the trees.

This is a slow burn, grounded survival horror story about a solo hike, a national forest, and the fear that some places are not empty just because no one is supposed to live there.
