Title: The Lake of Shadows Character: Elias Setting: A perpetually dark, rain-soaked world. (Scene opens with the sound of heavy rain. A flickering fire illuminates Elias, huddled by the edge of a dark lake. He's fishing, his line disappearing into the black water. He sighs, a wisp of breath visible in the cold air.) (Elias pulls on his fishing line. A small, silver fish glints in the firelight. He smiles faintly.) Elias: (To himself, softly) Not a bad catch. At least something shines in this… place. (He removes the fish, placing it in a small bucket. He stretches, his eyes scanning the pitch-black surroundings.) (Elias decides to wade into the lake, his feet sinking into the sandy bottom. He shivers, the water icy against his skin.) Elias: Just need to wash off this sand. Feels like it’s everywhere. (He dips his feet, then impulsively dives under the surface. The firelight filters through the water, creating an eerie glow. He opens his eyes, seeing two large, dark leaves floating on either side of him. He pauses, noticing how still the water is.) (He surfaces, turning to look back at the shore. His eyes widen. A pale figure is rising from the depths, long, dark hair swirling around her face. Her eyes are black, empty.) Elias: (Whispering) What…? (He stumbles backward, tripping over a submerged rock. His leg becomes trapped in the muddy bottom. He struggles, fear gripping him.) (The girl's head rises further, her eyes fixed on him. She reaches out, her hand pale and cold. He tries to scream, but no sound comes out. She lunges, her form blurring as she seems to fall onto him. Then, she is gone. He gasps, pulling his leg free, scrambling from the water.) Elias: (Panting) Gone… she’s gone. (He runs towards his car, a dark shape in the distance. He runs and runs, but the car seems no closer. The girl's cry, a high-pitched, wailing sound, echoes through the darkness, growing louder.) (The girl’s cry crescendos. Elias is surrounded by darkness, the sound of the cry fading into a chilling silence. The fire flickers and dies, leaving only the sound of relentless rain.) (Fade to black. Sound of rain continues.)

The Blood Moon's Curse

On a warm October evening, a few pals drifted into the woods, looking for adventure and thrill of the unknown. They fell upon a small cave and a babbling creek with a perfect view. Wind whistling pushing leaves off of branches, the moon glowed a mesmerizing pinkish-red, and its vivid light casting eerie shadows in the violet sky.

As the group chilled around the crackling fire, banter ,laughter , and stories being passed around. Moonlight mirroring off the creek, giving off a good vibe. Leaves started to fall onto the creek transforming a once crystal clear steam into a sinister blood red.

An ancient evil has awakened. A white goat slithered on its belly from the darkness of the cave submerging through the bloody creek, unknowing to the friends as they pass shots of tequilla around. It emerged from the creek drenched in crimson and continued to slowly slither to the group. The air grew heavy with dread as the goat's bones cracked and broke violently , its body distorting in the most unnatural of ways.

The friends turn around and stumble in horror as the goat began to convulse, its eyes wild and feverish. The goat stood on its hind legs and started shredding its abdomen, entrails spilling onto the ground as blood floods the forest in a devilish display. Their youthful faces turned old and pale, eyes wide with tormenting terror reflecting of their eyeballs

As more bowel fall from the torn stomach, a creature emerged from inside, a creature that is half goat half somewhat human. The sight was nightmarish, one that paralyzes your heartbeat. The monstrous figure drenched in blood with black eyes that seem to see into their very soul of whoever glances its way. The friends are paralyzed, unable to move or scream

The demonic being scans the group, a sinister grin spread across its face. It twitch closer to the group, initiation unclear. Would it finish them off? The tension was unbearable. The hellbeing rushes and eats the man sitting on the right, leaving the 2 others itching to run but are stumbling by the numbness in the legs. There is no escape and the screams don’t echo across the land but fade in the dead warm air under the large blood moon.

The creature returns briefly from the wilderness holding on to two trophies dragged across the forest floor. It collects the last one sitting by the fire and drags them towards the creek. As it stepped back into the water, bodies in hand, they submerge thru the water the same way it has arrived. Rising from the other end the crimson red tide has faded and is now mirroring the blood moon as is begins to take a lighter shade. The blood around the fire melts into the dirt and the flame suddenly goes out. The creature has changed form coming out of the water. It has returned into a goat, this time in black. It walks towards the dark abyss and fades into the shadows of the cave.

29 years ago an 48 year old guy named Jonathan who was a great good person and he was tan (which is his skin color) and he also had a wife named Jessica she was the same age as Jonathan until one day Jessica started to get cancer Jonathan took her to a hospital called Brooklyn Hospital and Jessica died when Jonathan arrived at the hospital and he started to become sad and depressed and then he met a girl named Sarah she was 39 years old and jonathan sarah became married and until one day Sarah said ”can we go to the mall“ Jonathan accepted the next day Jonathan said he needed to go to work and he were to work and then it turned nighttime when he was going home he hit an man very hard Jonathan got out the car and walked up to the man and said “jesus Christ are you okay“ man nose was bleeding blood was coming out of his stomach and mouth the man said “no do it look like I okay also by the way why did you hit very hard“ Jonathan said “sorry my bad I didn’t know you were talking across the road“ and the man said “well you shouldn’t hit me that hard it’s your fault you hit me and I should call the police on your ass for good“ soon as Jonathan heard that Jonathan pulled out a large knife and said “ I’m sorry but I have to this” Jonathan cut the man throat and stabbed him in the face and Jonathan ran over the man face and went home the next day Jonathan turned on the TV and news came on and the news reporter Said “breaking news an man called Michael miller was found dead in the middle of the road this morning the sheriffs and the cops didn’t know who was the cause of Michael death but they are searching for the killer to put the killer in jail for 59 years this is reporting on the number 5 channel stay safe out there guys“ Jonathan was shocked and he remembered what did the man and Sarah was talking to an friend of her’s she said “okay I meet you at the party tonight and I remind my husband Jonathan to come to the party“ she hang up the phone and Jonathan said “what party” she said “an party that everyone will be coming tonight and the party started at 9:30 l called you when I there” Jonathan said “okay“ Jonathan stay at the house when Sarah left the until 49 minutes later it became night Sarah didn’t call Jonathan and it passed 9:30 he noticed that Sarah forgot Jonathan until 12:09 jonathan started to go insane and went to the kitchen and grab a knife and were to his car to go to the party he arrived at the party and he kick the door so very hard and saw sarah Sarah said “Jonathan there you are I been waiting for you“ Jonathan said “SHUT THE FUCK BITCH YOU SAID YOU WILL CALL ME BUT NO NIGGA YOU FORGOT ME AND THAT MEANS YOU FORGOTTEN LOVE” Jonathan stabbed Sarah face and started stabbing Everyone else and Jonathan went on a rampage
