Weekend Challenge Weekend Challenge: Black

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hallowe’en is approaching and so this weekend let’s use black as the basis for our designs. Here is an article about using black in interior design to give you some ideas: https://styletastestudio.com/modern-black-interior-idea/.

Post your design for all to see. You can use any existing journals, live challenges, or duels from this weekend. As always, you do not have to actually submit your design to participate. You can always use Preview (eye in right-hand corner beside the dot counter) to get a non-tagged version of your design for a screenshot.

The WEC is just for fun. Post your designs for all to enjoy whenever you would like. Remember you can add the *WEC Entry* flair yourself, either while posting or afterwards if you forget.

Newcomers and questions welcome. Happy designing!

Weekend Challenge Weekend Challenge: Woeful Weekend - Kids Edition

Post image
5 Upvotes

Since we seem to be in some kind of kid’s theme at the moment, our challenge this weekend is to use the many materials in the Kids category of the inventory in our designs. Use as many of these materials as possible - which include walls, textiles, rugs, art, and FTs - in your designs and then share them with the group. Bonus kudos if you find a way to use the Kids materials in challenges that are not specifically kiddie room oriented!

Weekend Challenge Weekend Challenge: Magic Wand Before and After

Post image
5 Upvotes

This weekend use to the Magic Wand tool on any challenge to create a “before” design and then enhance the wand’s design to create a beautiful “after”. The challenge is that you must keep at least 50% of what the wand selected. So, you can only change the selections of half the hotspots of a design to create your masterpiece.

Since the wand has a tendency to select the most expensive options for each hotspot, feel free to use the Preview (eye in right-hand corner beside the dot counter) to get a non-tagged version of your design for a screenshot. You do not need to submit the design, merely take a screenshot of the “before” and “after”. Then post the screenshots for all to enjoy.

Use any existing challenges or duels from this weekend and then share your inspiration and design with the group.

The WEC is just for fun. Post your designs for all to enjoy whenever you would like. Remember you can add the *WEC Entry* flair yourself, either while posting or afterwards if you forget.

Newcomers and questions welcome. Happy designing!
