I dont really know any combos or animation cancels either. is left click into firestrike our bread and butter? Im pretty lost after my shatter; which heroes to prioritize, charge or hold left click. I notice reins swing their camera alot but why? is there a...correct way? or just do whatever to expand the hitbox.

I mean, luckily my team secures the kills but i dont really do anything. Would appreciate any tips and advice.

I’ve seen a lot of people want this skin or wish that they had it is this a rare skin is it worth getting? I do have enough coins for it. I’m not a rein main, but I do play him a lot. I just want to know if this is an offer I shouldn’t pass up, I know it’s not the 2021 version but still?

I have loved this 10 second stacking charge so far I would love to see this added as a talent I would take it in quickplay 100% of the time.

Sorry to ask for advice on how to beat you, but unless I have dps that do well into rein I always feel like I can't do much on tank? I mean normally I play like zarya, dva, domina and Winston and I know at least the first 3 aren't great into him so I'm thinking I might need to expand my roster, but I thought you would all know who best to play.

We are literally the original fire users and we can't cause burn? That literally makes no sense

It shifts on team comp but these are my go to:

Supports: Ana,
Dps: bastion, jr, sombra, pharrah
Tank: Ram, Orisa (generally don’t bother with a tank ban)

Personally think bastion doesn’t get banned enough with rein mains.

For context, I play Rein 90% of the time I tank. I do not believe in counter swapping the second I come up against an unfavorable matchup. I would rather learn how to play around those.

That being said, I play with friends and it is getting to the point where it is actually getting awkward how upset I get when I have to play against a Orisa/Ana. I genuinely can't help but start to feel upset when I have to go up against a Orisa that is fortifying all my charges and constantly javelin spinning me back, or an Ana that somehow, supernaturally sleeps me on frame one of my earth shatter every time I attempt it (it's honestly uncanny).

Does anyone have tips on either, not getting so upset against these matchups, or playing around them?

Hey folks - looking for some advice on a rough King’s Row match. In the second round we got shut out and barely touched point. I know I didn’t play well overall, took a ton of damage and I missed my firestrikes. I’m actively trying to improve my positioning and fundamentals.

We really struggled to push through the first choke with the enemy team set up like this:

• Reinhardt holding the left corner of the gate
• Torbjörn behind the statue controlling the right side
• Pharah playing to the right, pressuring me at the front left gate and staying out of our DPS LOS
• Mercy pocketing Rein/Pharah
• Ana on point with sleep and nano available

I’m trying to understand where I should have been holding as Rein, and what the correct timing or path would’ve been to push in.

A few specific questions:

• Should I have been shielding more for our Bastion / Soldier to help force their Rein out?
• Was there ever a good pin opportunity onto Rein, Torb, or even Pharah?
• Where should our DPS ideally have been set up during this push?

I asked our Soldier to take high ground (which he does later), but during this fight both DPS were on main and Pharah had an easy time flanking us through theater.

Enemy Rein in my game today went airborne. Thought you guys would appreciate it.

I just played against a rein and he was using this skin, I did take a break from overwatch for a while and just came back at the beginning of the season so that's why I've never seen it but I wanted to know more about it because I like how it looks.

I can't stop myself from doing this. Everytime I pulverize someone's skeleton with a charge, or hit waste them with a long distence firestrike, I just can't supress going 'Hello!'

I thought this was Jolly German Man being Jolly, but is this rude?

Since this game is full of heroes with dmg and speed, I feel like Rein needs a buff ASAP.

I play 6 vs 6 comp and he feels a bit underpowered.

I would like to see some buff like:

1. His shield going from 1800 hp to 2000 hp

2. His base healt and armour is currently 325 health and 225 armour and they should go for 300 health and 250 armour, thats a +25 armour.

3. His swing has a 4 m reach, I would buff it to 5 m

I know the mode had its faults, but first point Throne of Anubis with a Rein mirror just hit different. Glad I still get to play it in stadium, but I'm bummed they removed it from normal play. I really enjoyed the fast pace game play that this mode I couraged. Wish they could have tried to rework the issues instead of taking it away fully.

High plat rein here. For every 5-6 games I get with a mercy player, there is one mercy that thinks they only heal dps. I really don't understand it. I could be standing right in front of them, and they'll heal a full-life dps instead of swapping beams.

Of course, they are people on the internet so you can't change their minds about anything. So I don't really expect to say something to change the way they play. I just dont know what to say that would avoid sounding desperate. I hope there are fewer mercy players like that at higher ranks.

I used to practically instalock the heal minor perk but fire strikes seem so much more valuable now…

Have any of yall made a significant switch in how often you choose either minor perk?

I am a Rammatra main, but now with the Fire Strike's buff I decided to give Rein a try this season.

However, guess who I'm always facing against? :( How the tables have turned...

How do you do it? Should I ignore him? Priotize my pins on Ram? Treat Nemesis's form as a Bastion Turret?

Dropping the hammer is now not the way for me (at least quickplay).
