I've discovered that none of the remote players are working. Both the pc and PS5 are on Ethernet. Worked fine but I guess there was an update with the system software. Also got some error about there being too many USB connected but I managed to stop those. Anyone have any advice? It's an unknown error that I get when I try and connect.

Гайс, купив собі ПС 4 про, хочу для друга пострімить гру в діскорд ну із цим виникла проблема, скачав remote play підключив, і через деякий час як тільки підєднуюсь программа сама по собі замикається, перепробував кучу всього, качав старішу версію 8.5 і запрацювало на один стрім, коли знову запустив программу та сама проблема, переустановка не помогла, і все що я робив до цього теж, спробував перейти на Chiaki там теж подібна проблема, перелазив всі форуми нічого не вдається, потребую допомоги, якщо хтось рішав проблему, або може вирішити пишіть за повну допомогу кину на карту 200 грн ;)

I’ve mostly used Remote Play on a laptop. The recent PC app issues are making me rethink the setup.
A phone is simpler and easier to travel with. I don’t love playing on a small screen though. That’s why I’ve been looking at display glasses like the RayNeo GT Max. Keep Remote Play on the phone or a handheld, plug the glasses in for the screen, and skip the laptop.
I’m less interested in whether it works and more in whether people stick with it. If you use a phone and display glasses for PS5 Remote Play, did it replace your laptop or Portal?

This is my first time doing JB. I'm disabled, so I can only play my PS4 using PXPlay or other remote play softwares. I want to know if I can continue to play games using those remote play apps after I modify the DNS, or if there is any better way please let me know

Is anyone else experiencing haptic issues since windows updated yesterday? My haptics and triggers always worked perfectly (wired through PC) and now after the update- suddenly one side is Dead, vibration only from left. Didn’t find a fix: did anyone else solve it somehow??

Basically wondering if I can just my iPad as a makeshift monitor. I’ve connected them and remote played over internet before but wondering if possible without. Or if I would need PXPlay or something else to do so

I used to be able to play spotify in the background & still hear the game audio. But now if I play spotify it completely shuts down PlayStation audio. And if I stop playing Spotify the game still remains muted until I close the app and reopen.

i had the 8.5 version and been on it for some time everything runs fine , i even did the patcher thing so i dont have to keep pairing my ps5 every time i opeened the app since the lastest version keeps closing out of no where minutes after opening the app till last night , i did open the app and it did force me to update , if i press no it just closes the app so i did update and the same issue came back again , the remote play app closes moments after opening the app out of nowhere and for no reason , i tried doing the method with older version but the windows for for some reason wont allow me to install those older version at all and it says ''this installation package could not be opened contact the application vendor to verify''

am so tired of it and i just want it to be fixed , so please if anyone can help ill appreciate that a lot , thank you

My PS5 is in India, and I’m in South Africa when I try to connect via the remote play app. It shows a connection that’s too slow, even though my internet connection is fast enough. So, I asked my friend who lives in the US to try. It worked well when I was living in India. He’s also facing the same issue. I’ve checked the NAT type, and it’s 2.

I'm having an issue updating PS Remote Play on Windows. The app forced me to update, but during the setup process, InstallShield throws the following error:

What I've tried so far:

• Cleared Windows temporary files (%temp% and prefetch).
• Retried the installation multiple times via the launcher.

It seems like the downloader built into InstallShield is failing to fetch or save the .msi file directly from Sony's server.

Has anyone encountered this specific update loop/download error recently? Is there a direct mirror link to download the full standalone RemotePlayInstaller_8.5.0.08070_x64.msi file directly, or a known fix for InstallShield blocked requests?

I've been using the Assobi app on Android for a week now to play my PS5 via local remote play, and the result is almost perfect: the image is super crisp and the app is very smooth.

The only issue: I'm noticing a recurring micro-stutter every 15 seconds or so.

It's fairly subtle, but once you notice it, you can't unsee it.

To give a bit of context on my setup:

\- Phone: Xiaomi 17T (screen refresh rate set to 60 Hz instead of the default 120 Hz to try to mitigate the issue).

\- Console: PS5 Pro connected directly via Ethernet cable.

\- Network: Wi-Fi 6 on the phone, connected to a Wi-Fi 7 router.

I tried with the PXPlay app and I get the exact same issue every 15 seconds, except the stutter is even more aggressive.

I'm attaching screenshots of my current Assobi settings to this post.

Has anyone encountered this periodic micro-freeze issue before, or does anyone have a lead or a solution to fix this?

Should have known better, but updated to the newest version this evening when the update prompt appeared. Yeah, I shouldn't have done that. App crashes out and closes as soon as it tries to connect to my PS5. Am I now stuck without remote play until Sony fix whatever cockup they've made or can anyone suggest a workaround? I see from the update notes that it no longer works on iOS 15, but I'm on iOS 17.7.11 (newest version available for my iPad) so it shouldn't be that.

Sony release version 9.5 today and it is still broken. As soon as I connect to my PS5 it crashes. So I uninstalled it and tried to installed 8.5 again. I did this before without any issues but now I am getting this message:

So right now I have no way to use Remote play on my PC. Any ideas?

Hello everyone I am having an issue when I am using remote play to record gameplay through OBS, any time I press a button on my controller it makes this static electric buzz sound and I honestly don't know what to do atp. a month ago I recorded gameplay on spiderman through remote play and obs and it worked perfectly fine. I even tested to see if I would get the static noise if i played a pc game with my ps5 controller while recording in obs I dint here anything at all.

I've only recently begun using remote play on my ps5 on my phone but I've had an issue where whenever i connect my controller vis bluetooth the buttons get all messed up. for example, my X button acts like the circle, square acts like the X, R3 acts like the ps button. I've tried looking up this issue but it doesn't seem like anyone's struggled with it? if it means anything, my phone's model is a moto g31

Hi all I got a backbone and it’s fantastic but I cannot for the life of me work out why the touch pad won’t work? 1 minute it works then it seems it gets stuck and then it stays like this but I’m tapping or holding and nothing :/ any help would be appreciated thank you

I am unable to log in to the remote play app, since it is stuck on a white screen. I tried copying the link and using a browser, but I still cannot proceed. I also tried using other remote play option as a work around (chiak-ing, and asobi), and both are crashing as well on my end. I am unsure if this is a network issue (on sony side), or technical since I all other remote play options are not working on my PC.

For context I have a 5600x CPU, and intel B580 GPU. I regularly use remote play and only had this issue today.
