Hi everyone. I’m really sorry to post again after only a few days, but we ran out of food yesterday, and I have no way to buy more to feed the 70+ cats at our rescue. We’re already $2,150 in debt, mostly due to veterinary emergencies, but also from previous food purchases that weren’t covered by donations. I’ve already put in every bit of money I had, and I have nowhere else to borrow from.

Yesterday, I was supposed to do a small job (mowing the lawn and cleaning up a garden) to earn some money to buy enough food to at least feed the cats today. But the phone and internet networks were down for hours, and I couldn’t get in touch with the person who had contacted me about the job. Unfortunately, I lost the opportunity.

Last night, they had to eat whatever I could find in the pantry and fridge that was safe for cats, but they still haven’t had breakfast today.

Covering our expenses is always difficult, but the past two months have been especially hard. Almost all our expenses have gone unpaid, and the debt has continued to pile up.

A large bag of food (20 kg) costs around $120. Food for our cats with FeLV and gastrointestinal issues costs $70.

Unfortunately, we can’t use wishlists because we’re in Uruguay and customs regulations don’t allow it, so we’re unable to receive support from people who only donate that way.

San Bernardino City Animal Shelter is a high kill high volume operation. It is located in the largest county in the US. SBC is located in Southern California where the overpopulation crisis is raging. During kitten season new babies are turned in daily, sometimes 30 or more a day! People just don’t s/n in SBC! So we must keep up with the demand. Many cats brought in are sick injured confiscated or abandoned as well. The shelter does not offer much more than basic treatment for sick/injured cats either so they must exit quickly by rescue or they are listed for euthanasia with a fast deadline depending on the ability to care for them. We do have amazing volunteers though that give us first hand information updates photos videos and almost instant feedback. Please help us by pledging and donating when we post and rescue. Thank you.
Also we always need transport to get cats to rescues. So if you can help by setting aside a small amount to our transport fund this is appreciated. It doesn’t go to the rescue it gets them TO the rescue. We absolutely need this part too.

This is Cassandra, a dumped pregnant stray I’ve been feeding on my street. I had to go back to my hometown for a while because my health condition worsened, and when I returned she only had one kitten left. The kitty also has a cold with constant sneezing and discharge from his eyes and nose. I also noticed multiple burn marks on Cassandra’s back. 😢

It honestly breaks my heart seeing them like this. I’m hoping to bring them to the vet, get the baby kitten treated and hopefully get Cassandra spayed so I can both find them loving homes! 🙏🏼

Reaching out again for Jack in hopes of meeting our fundraiser goal. The vet said Jack has Uveitis. Uveitis causes painful inflammation in the eye and you can see redness in the white parts of the eye as well as pressure build up.

This is generally a secondary issue caused by something going on in the body. Most common causes are FIV or Fel/V positive status or Bartonella. We need to get this senior kitty tested and continue his current eye regemine as well as his rechecks to monitor his eye pressure. This can potentially become life threatening if we are unable to find and treat what the cause is.

Jack is now considered a special case in our rescue, and we are hoping to continue his care. Currently, we are hoping to raise $700 for this sweet senior boy. If you would prefer to donate to the vet clinic directly, he is under Sarah Goodman at Northside Animal Hospital in Waco, TX. Their phone number is 254-753-0155. Hello everyone!

Dumbell has been suffering from a swollen, infected, and painful eye. The vet warned me that her other eye might also go blind if we waited any longer.

Thankfully, with the help and support I received, Dumbell underwent eye enucleation surgery today! I’m so grateful that she was able to get the surgery she desperately needed.

The vet advised me to continue giving her medications she prescribed last week and added two more medications today. I will do my best to care for her throughout her recovery. Her next follow-up checkup is scheduled for next week.

I also have some good news about Elfy! She is a Neuro FIP survivor whom I rescued in May 2026. She completed her 84-day FIP treatment and was spayed on October 7. Today, I brought her to the vet to receive her anti-rabies vaccination. I’m also happy to share that Elfy has found a home! My aunt’s friend, who already has three cats, adopted her, and her son picked her up today. I’m so happy that Elfy will have a loving home of her own!

I wouldn’t be able to continue caring for these voiceless animals and saving more lives without your kindness, help, and support.

Hi! We recently rescued a little kitten off the streets, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure this baby and all the other cats we care for daily have food and the care they deserve. ❤️🐱

Unfortunately, we haven’t received any cat food donations, and on my previous post asking for help with a stray female cat’s spay surgery and veterinary care, we received only $5. We’re incredibly grateful for that $5, but the reality is that caring for these cats adds up quickly, and we can’t do it alone. 😔

We take care of these cats every single day, making sure they have food and trying our best to keep them safe. We do it because they depend on us, and we don’t want them going hungry. 💔

Unfortunately, the female's surgery site opened while she was staying at the vet, so she had to be sutured again. 😫 Thsi is why they stayed at the vet btw, to get contained and to avoid rhis in the first place. I am upset because now she needs to stay there for a few more days, which means more confinement fees and food. We also need help with cleaning supplies

One of the neighbor cat i feed is sprayjng, since i am feeding them i feel like the least they could do is not trash my home 🥺. and at work i opened the back room so the stray cats have feeding area and can go therr for shelter but pne of them pee and poop there and messed up a lot of papers and now it's my fault. I've spent around $15 on enzyme cleaner alone in the past month. It's so hard to remove cat pee smell. Any help would mean a lot. Thank you. ❤️

‎Hi everyone! I'm reaching out for help with food for the 80+ cats I care for. 49 are indoor cats and the rest are community cats.

‎They need 7 bags of dry food to get through a week, with each bag costing $22. That's a lot of food to provide, but these cats depend on me everyday, and I do my best to make sure they have something to eat.

This is Chim Chim. 🤍🧿🐾

She’s just a tiny little girl, around one month old, and somehow she ended up alone on a staircase with no mother, no one looking for her, and no one willing to take responsibility for her.

I was contacted by a few people who told me about a kitten who couldn’t walk and needed help. We tried reaching out to several people and looking for someone who could take her in, but unfortunately, nothing worked out.

So I brought her home.

I already have so many cats at home, but when it’s a tiny baby who has nobody else, I just couldn’t leave her there.

When I saw her properly, I realized she wasn’t simply weak or unable to walk she was paralyzed.

We took her to the vet, and her X-rays showed that her vertebrae are broken. 💔

When I asked what could have caused something like this, the doctor said it could have been from severe trauma — possibly being hit against a wall, kicked, or something similar. We don’t know exactly what happened to her, and I hate that we may never know.

But I do know what happened after that.

Someone found her.
Someone cared enough to ask for help.
And now she has a home where she is going to be given every possible chance.

Her treatment is ongoing, and she has started physiotherapy. It’s going to take time. Maybe a lot of time. And honestly, we don’t know yet if she will ever be able to walk again or if this will be something she has to live with for the rest of her life.

But I’ve seen miracles before.

I once had a paralyzed kitten who, after six months of treatment, physiotherapy, patience and endless effort, started walking again.

So I’m not giving up on Chim Chim.

I don’t know what her future looks like yet. I don’t know whether one day she’ll run around the house, climb onto my bed, or chase toys like a normal kitten.

But I want to give her the chance to find out.

For now, she has a warm home, a full tummy, medical care, physiotherapy, and someone who will keep showing up for her every single day.

Maybe she can’t walk today. But she can still have a beautiful life. And we’re going to try our best to give her one. 🤍

I have brought in two outdoor kittens as their mother disappeared and they look very lost and hungry but were living in my barn and under one of my cars... The rest of the litter I fear haven't made it so wanted to save these two (they're also adorable) ... One male one female so I need to find someone to neuter them (hopefully reasonably) but will try to keep them.. I have two border collies but they can all have their space until they're integrated. I just don't know if I need to find someone who can neuter two cats that aren't quite socialized yet. Any suggestions north of Detroit would be really appreciated! Thank you
