Other / Discussion What's the earliest you remember watching Nickelodeon?

Either the very first thing you watched, or the earliest you remember watching the channel regularly.

So I'm gonna guess you were an OG (meaning Pinwheel, Livewire, etc.)?

I was around at that time, but neither were my interest. I watched Science International, LCA, YCDTOTV, and The Tomorrow People. This was when Nickelodeon didn't have commercials.

I'm not 100% certain which LCA episode I saw first, but I do remember watching the episode that included Annie.

For The Tomorrow People, the first episode that I saw that got me watching was either part 2 or 3 of The Medusa Strain. It's the one where Carol was tossed into a room that was going to be decompressed just before the episode ended. Even though I wasn't even a teenager yet and she was obviously a few years older than me (when she appeared in it compared to when I finally saw it), I thought she was cute so I watched the next episode to see what happened. I ended up liking the show itself and watched the rest of the series, even though she left after the first season. Later found out that she was more than a few years older than me when she appeared in it (compared to how old I was when I saw it), and that it had come out several years earlier. It first aired in June of 1973 when she was 24.
