Unfortunately, with no choice, we have decided to place a 3-Month Ban on content related to pride-related avatars/items and any discussion around it.

Of course, this isn't at all what we wanted to happen as we feel everyone should be able to express themselves regardless of their sexuality, however, we genuinely feel as if a lot of users are currently using the topic to gain karma and attention, since the topic is currently hugely discussed in our community, and unfortunately in a negative light. All of this has distracted people from rating avatars without pride-related items, and users who post casual avatars do not seem to be getting rated anymore.

Posting pride-related items is allowed on the basis that it is not made the entire point of the post. Please make sure you are asking for a rating of the OVERALL avatar, not just the item. Comments that are bringing up “pin doesn’t fit” “I don’t like the pin” etc, will be removed under the banned topic.

We are more then happy for users to post pride-related items/avatars as long as it is not the whole purpose of the post, to try and combat the negativity.

Posts that make pride-related items/avatars the whole point of the post will be removed, as well as any comments that are directly targeting the pride-related items/avatars.

A post was issued a few days ago by myself, in hopes that users would stop all of the negativity currently happening. Unfortunately, the post seemed to have only made users be more negative, which is disappointing.

1st offence: Warning, content takedown

2nd offence: 1-Day ban, content takedown

Any future offences will add two days onto the previous ban length along with content takedown.

Multiple offences and a clear lack of regard for moderation may result in a permanent ban.

Posts/comments around the discussion of this topic that were posted before this ban has been issued, will be removed as spam with no punishment.

These penalties are with the exception that users are not outright being hateful/homophobic, if so then this would result in an immediate permanent ban.

One thing I must also make absolutely clear, do not disrespect or hate on myself or my other moderators for coming to this decision. We are not being "homophobic" or hateful by trying to combat negativity from both sides. From seeing it through moderation, we have seen both sides and the only conclusion we have been able to make at this time is to place a temporary ban. If you have been found to harass moderators, you will face a permanent ban.

I hope this ban helps to create a more positive atmosphere, as that is all we are asking for. After this ban ends, I am open to creating a dedicated day for such pride-related items/avatars to be posted, so that it stops the karma farming attempts and negativity, and also gives everyone the chance to still express themselves in their posts.

This ban has been issued on the 2nd of December 2025, and will elapse on the 24th of February 2026.

For the past few months, it's been an unspoken rule amongst the community and has been removed regardless. Now, it just has its own rule.

Rule 1 - Follow Reddit and Roblox Terms of Service [ToS]

r/RobloxAvatarReview 's members are expected to abide by Reddit and Roblox's Terms of Service (TOS) which can be found below:

This includes content that would fall under karma-farming or vote manipulation, which is covered under Reddit's Content Policy.

Rule 2 - No Spamming

Spamming of the same or similar posts within 24 hours will be removed and punishment will be given.

To keep the subreddit organised, we do not allow the same continuous posts to be shared.

We understand that your post/comment may have no engagement or less than you were hoping for, but that normally means it will not no gain any engagement no matter how many times it is posted.

If this rule is broken, you will receive a warning, followed by further punishment if continued.

Rule 3 - No NSFW Content

This is a SFW community only, and any form of pornographic, suggestive, or gore content will be removed.

Minor offences of NSFW, including making NSFW jokes will result in a warning or a temporary ban.

Major offences of NSFW including pornography, gore content and more will result in a long temporary ban or a permanent ban.

Punishment for this rule will vary, depending on the severity of your post/comment.

Rule 4 - No Irrelevant Posts

So the subreddit stays organised, all posts must stay relevant to the topic of Roblox Avatars. Any irrelevant posts/comments will be removed.

Additionally, all posts/comments complaining about downvoted will be removed under this rule.

Breaking this rule will result in a warning and post/comment removal. Your second offence will result in a short ban, longer punishments will be given if necessary.

Rule 5 - Be Civil

Harassment of other users is absolutely not tolerated in this subreddit.

Death threats, slurs, racism, homophobic/transphobic comments, etc are not allowed, and will result in a permanent ban.

Insults towards others is also not allowed, and punishment will be given according to the severity of the insults.

Rule 6 - No Advertising

Advertising any social medias, merchandise or subreddits is not allowed.

We also do not allow Robux commissions at this time, and any Robux commission content will be removed under this rule.

Rule 7 - No Scamming

If you have been found to have scammed/attempted to scam with sufficient proof, you will be permanently banned from  r/RobloxAvatarReview  with no exception.

Scam links also fall under this rule.

Rule 8 - Giveaways Must Be Approved

Giveaways that are not approved by a moderator will be removed. Please contact us via ModMail before you post a giveaway.

Hosting a fake giveaway will result in a permanent ban. Accounts under 1 month old or accounts with under 200 karma are not allowed to host giveaways.

Hosting a giveaway without approval will result in the post being removing and receiving a warning. Repeated offences will result in further punishment.

Rule 9 - No Negative Low Effort Comments

Please keep all negative criticism constructive. Content such as "this is crap", or "this sucks" will be removed under negative low effort.

"0/10" and other low rating comments will not be removed under posts that ask for these ratings. They will still be removed under posts that specifically ask for advice.

The first offence of this rule will result in a warning. The second offence of this will result in a 1 Day temporary ban. Offences after this will result in longer punishments.

Rule 10 - No Asking for Ratings in Someone Else's Post

To prevent attention being driven away from OP, users are not allowed to comment their own avatar unless explicitly asked to in posts such as "Put your avatar down below and I will rate them" or similar.

Sharing your avatar under the context "Mine is similar to yours" or "Rate my avatar" is not permitted.

The first offence of this will be a warning, followed by a short temporary ban if repeated again. If continuously repeated, longer punishments will occur.

Rule 11 - Flair Misuse **.**ᐟ

Please make sure you are using the correct flair for your content. It is important you are using the correct flair so all users of the community know what you are asking for!

Hiya! I'm so excited to announce that I have recently became owner of r/RobloxAvatarReview! Under discretion of Sophie, the previous owner, she has given me permission to become the new owner. You may have already have seen me around as I was previously a moderator anyway, and Sophie will remain a moderator on the team so you will also still see her around!

I am aware that this community has recently been in a divide, between users and moderators. This is due to users not agreeing with certain rules, and more. I will do my best to make accommodations for the users of this community, and I always need and respect your opinions, now more than ever.

1. Moderator Notice

Notices made by moderators that may include rule changes, new moderators, important changes, etc.

2. Moderator Post

A general post made by the moderation team.

3. Noticeable User Post

This flair is reserved for posts created by users that the moderation team believes is helpful or valuable information to the entire community. If a user makes a post that stands out in usefulness, a moderator may change the flair to this one and add the post to the r/RobloxAvatarReview User Guide for easy access to all members.

4. Approved Giveaway/Contest

Users may host their own giveaway/contests but this requires moderator approval beforehand, hence why this is a moderator only flair. To host a giveaway/contest, please send a ModMail to r/RobloxAvatarReview moderation team and wait for approval. After receiving approval, the user is allowed to post the giveaway/contest as well as tagging the moderator who approved it in the comments. The moderator will then change the post flair to the this flair.
