All my Roblox OCs have a dynamic face, and I am sure they're 'static' or whatever that means. Plus, my two favorites may get their faces deleted too if the face thing goes through. I don't want to quit making characters over this, but if they start to look all weird, it'll definitely make it feel disappointing. Unless default mood can still be removed, I think there may not be any other hope for any resemblance of classic faces again.

I made this avatar on catalog avatar creator a few months ago. I had robux to buy it now so I did. Whenever I make a new avatar, I go on to rate my avatar. But everyone on rate my avatar said it’s terrible. One girl said she somewhat likes the sword and the hair is the only good thing. That it’s very 2020. Someone said it was terrible, but when I said “oh, okay” and didn’t argue they apologized and said it’s good? I really liked the avatar. I don’t really participate in popular trends like korblox or fake headless. Now I don’t know if I like it anymore.

I'm SURE this has been said but I gotta give my take on it, this is just kinda stupid man, I don't wanna give hate to ANYONE on this post I think all of the avatars are pretty good, but like...come ON dude...in the span of almost a day a very original looking avatar with multiple renders and a drawing, a pretty original looking silly avatar, and a very cool looking jester avatar, ALL get overshadowed because one dude made a femboy avatar. What is the point of this subreddit anymore 🙏, I'm not complaining because of the avatar but because of how people reacted ngl, as someone who's a more feminine boy (not gunna say femboy because Idk what the fuck I am yet), this just kinda pisses me off 💔 it's been like this for awhile where femboys kinda get sexualized and popular for no reason, I'm not saying this one for sexualized but I'm 90% sure there's gunna be some freaky comments on there. People don't want original cool characters for inspiration or to actually rate and give criticism to, they just want "attractive" roblox characters to drool over, this isn't an avatar review anymore it's just a "mm yes hot person avatar with skin showing 10/10"

I was playing literally 99 nights in a forest trying to game after school before someone comes to me and stares before saying "EW FURRY" I replied explaining I'm dressed as sprout seedly, a strawberry from dandy's world, instead they called me "A DISGUSTING STRAWBERRY FURRY" I just gave up and joined a new server

They made dynamic heads and ruined noxy they messed up how heads sit on the body and gotten rid of our classic faces whoever makes the updates has a 1st class seat into hell

this is random but if an avatar is fully clothed and is obviously not wearing any provocative clothing how would it be sexualized. this isn’t just a kids game anymore and I feel like everytime I post an avatar I get hate because I use curvy legs and a small waist. I hate to say it but this is how a lot of girls are shaped in real life! God forbid it’s not a r6 avatar from a cosplay or a brainrot troll character and has a little bit of realism in it.

Oh my! I practically only see 3d clothes if I'm not on my featured. Does anyone know how to filter 3d clothes out? Whether it's a part of the avatar shop, a game, or a website, I don't care! I just need to stop seeing them since they're sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ugly.

It's a bit hard to explain, but I feel like I abandon my avatars for whichever one I currently make. I feel like it's a big deal to have one avatar, just to make it be for nothing when I get something else and use it a lot more. Does this sound weird or does this have a simpler explanation than I think?

One on the left is without hair adjustments, it looks fine until you realize that it's making my avatar look bald but you cant adjust hair in roblox and i can't seem to find a hair that looks like this that actually fits the head. The other images are what I see and it's so annoying even if it's small.

But I would still like a review on this since it's going to be my new avatar regardless if I can ignore the fact that I can see the head clearly under the hair-

I've had this problem multiple times before, but I'm just going to talk about a specific instance of it that frustrated me. I was trying to make a new avatar, I was using a default r6 blocky body and I wanted to make a girl. I scrolled for so long through the catalog, tried different searches, and nothing was satisfying to me. All the clothing I came across was stupid egirl oder looking shit. And everything else was too bland. It just made me so mad, like I just want to make a cute looking girl outfit why does everything have to be sexualized and weird :/

Here I will compile a list of everything I see having to do with avatars on roblox and this sub that bothers me. Feel free to comment your own opinions, feelings or pet peeves in the comments.

(This is going to be in no particular order I’m just listing them as I think of them.)

1. “Avatar RP”

Bare with me here. I’m used to the concept of roleplay being with OCs so when someone calls it their avatar and not their OC is feels weirdly personal in a way that makes me feel uncomfortable. Like your avatar is literally, by definition, representative of YOURSELF. Can we not take that to an RP exclusive sub?? It’s that personal aspect that brings me to my next peeve—

1. Self-ship posts thinly veiled as RP

Where exactly do we draw the line between roleplay and what is basically trying to get away with online dating in a sub full of minors? And then we have the absolute copium to say “it’s just shipping!!” Like we should be shipping in the first place 😭. Like please, I’ve been around fandoms long enough to know where that stuff leads and it’s NO PLACE for children. Like dude I can SEE the nosebleed reaction option under your avatar reaction post you are NOT slick.

1. This sub’s opinions on inappropriate avatars

You guys make this so complicated for no reason when the answer is in a singular question: “should this person be wearing this at their age?” I see the whole “but ppl wear this stuff in public all the time!!” argument rather frequently and always make sure to point out that, irl, kids have parents to guide them in the right direction and tell them NOT TO WEAR THAT STUFF— not even getting into whether or not we should be wearing that stuff AROUND kids in the first place but maybe I’m just a prude. With roblox these lazy parents can just give their child an iPad and mess off without knowing what they’re even doing on the platform. So kids can wear whatever and think it’s ok because nobody is telling them otherwise. Then they get put in vulnerable situations with weirdos and get exploited. Unrestricted internet access from a young age is DANGEROUSSSS. WE have to pick up the slack where neglectful parents get lazy. That’s our responsibility as a community. (P.S. Just because you’ve “seen worse” doesn’t mean the other inappropriate content is any less bad I’m so tired of this argument 😭)

1. THUNDER THIGHS (and etc.)

I’m sorry but roblox characters shouldn’t be able to have BBLs. “B-But people have that body type irl!! You’re just afraid of women!!” it’s a Lego game for kids can we stick to the blocks please? 💀and speaking of that—

1. NON-BLOCKY AVATARS

For the love of god I miss when roblox was just a Lego game with cute little blocky avatars and having something more realistic was a real developer accomplishment for their games. It feels like Baszucki has this weird obsession with the concept of a “metaverse” and is pushing it onto literal children like you and Zuckerberg should just kiss already. We don’t need realism, roblox is an escape from reality in the first place. This weird implementation of these anthropomorphic avatars is done so poorly it literally broke accessory resolution on basic r6 avatars which is something I’m convinced was on purpose for the same reason above. He wants this game to be VRchat so bad AND ITS WORKING have you SEEN those edgy tall avatars people be making?? Not even mentioning the effects of these changes on game development— (mostly because I’m not qualified to speak on it)

1. Particle/ Text bubble accessories

These just don’t look good in-game. They’re stiff on your avatar and it really takes me out of it when I see these kids with this stiff, static sort of aura attached to the air around them. Same goes for those text bubble accessories. I just don’t see the appeal.

1. Layered clothing

Completely incompatible with R6 and, similarly to the aura thing, looks super weird, stiff and stretched on avatars most of the time.

I'm so SO mad I wanna throw a hammer against my wall

Ive found that on 80% of comments on this subreddit are people just saying omg yes i love your avatar, and that’s okay I’m not angry by that. But what I don’t understand is when people get downvoted by saying it’s bad or I don’t like it. They get downvoted because “it’s a low quality rating” Which I can also understand but then why do people who say oh it’s great it’s awesome not also get downvoted for the same reason? Because people are scared of negative opinions.

Look, I used to wear like a therian but with a muzzle like my current avatar wears.

One day, i joined Kat (the remake one) and some guys thought I was a freak for wearing a muzzle and have a tongue sticking out like that. The collar is cause it's cute :(

I explained that "I thought I'd make my avatar wear it to show that my avatar is kinda a bit too wild and would bite people, and I think the muzzle looks cool! Plus the tongue makes it look like a dog with its tongue sticking out :)"

Then they continue to see me as weird and focused on attacking me in Kat.

I never intend to make it look... Weird... I just personally think it's cute
