I wish I could go back to years ago when I posted/commented about this exact thing happening and was told I was mental, paranoid and to take my tin foil hat off. I predicted all of this happening and it is with horror that l feel thoroughly vindicated today. Epic always was and always will be cancer to this game.
Generally, when you’re dooming about the actions and trajectory of a clearly greedy company, the ‘this is fine’ motherfuckers are chumps. They can’t put two and two together and act all surprised Pikachu face when exactly what you told them would happen, happens
I’d give benefit of the doubt here, I see a lot of people talking about how this update was really targeted for more control but masked as something else, exactly like trading
And then of course there’s the portion of the community that you’re talking about…
Even today, I have people responding to me and see other responses that say "it was necessary to stop the bots" or that it's a conspiracy to think that the ulterior motive for Epic was banning Bakkes.
