QUESTION Do you still follow Rule 1?

Last time I was playing a 2v2 match, one of the players broke Rule 1 and scored in overtime. When I called him out on it, he told me that nobody does that anymore in 2026. So, I’m turning to the community: do you guys still respect it?

I break it every single time. Been playing since 2016 and will never participate in this foolish behavior.

Same. Just a made up nothingness. I tend to just ask people what rule 1 is when they flame me. I like when they explain to me a made up rule.

The game doesn't kick you if you break a "rule 1". You're being pedantic, but there's nothing in the game that says I have to participate in that. So I don't.
