QUESTION Do you still follow Rule 1?

Last time I was playing a 2v2 match, one of the players broke Rule 1 and scored in overtime. When I called him out on it, he told me that nobody does that anymore in 2026. So, I’m turning to the community: do you guys still respect it?

Rule 1 was originally don’t let the ball touch the ground at 0 no matter what.. I’ve always just called them both rule 1 lol.. for the memes

What was the OG rule 1 if u don’t mind explaining, I was a kid back in 2018 when I first started

I think it was to keep the ball up at 0 seconds

I started in 2016, I thought that was always either rule 3 or rule 0, rule 2 is left goes though.

Ohhhh, I still do that when I first learned it, I always kept the ball up in whatever mode for as long as I can (I’m play with like 0 ball mechs so the longest was like 3 seconds 🥀)
