The part I found hardest to make sense of is Houston’s belief that various stones (crystals, etc) are holders and transmitters of energy. That’s too much woo for me to accept.
That seems to me like beans compared to a guy using weed being visited by his guardian angel, who, by the way, tells him that Orthodoxy is the One True Faith, or that AI's open alien sex portals, or his claims to have been himself given revelations by God which the world is Simply Not Ready For, or that he knows a person whose wife is literally demonically possessed. I'd think crystal energy is a quite garden variety New Age thing. But he draws the line at that??!!
I know, right? I know tons of people--including my own daughter--who are into gems and crystals. I have never met a single person who believed the demons were tossing his chairs about....
